Nay, verily, it is against Our messages that he knowingly, stubbornly sets himself
Nay! For lo! he hath been stubborn to Our revelations.
By no means; he is stubbornly opposed to Our Signs.
Yet how obstinate to Our signs, revelations and ordinances he has been; holding no opinions but they held him and reign in his core.
No way; he is the one who refuses to listen to my words.
Nay! Verily, he has been opposing Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations).
By no means! For to Our Signs he has been refractory!
But no! ˹For˺ he has been truly stubborn with Our revelations.
Never! He is inimical towards Our verses.
No! He has been stubbornly hostile to Our revelation:
Nay! He is forward unto Our signs;
nay, verily, he is hostile to our signs!
By no means! For lo! He stubbornly opposes Our revelations.
Not at all! Surely he has been stubborn to Our signs.
By no means: Because he is an adversary to our signs.
Nay! Truly, he has been opposing Our Signs!
Certainly not, for he has been a stubborn opponent to Our Messages.
No indeed! He is an obstinate opponent of Our signs.
