Surah Al-Kahf (The Cave) — سورة الكهف - **Verse:** 46 / 110 · **Juz:** 15 · **Mushaf page:** 298 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-kahf/verse-46 ## Arabic اَلْمَالُ وَالْبَنُونَ ز۪ينَةُ الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَاۚ وَالْبَاقِيَاتُ الصَّالِحَاتُ خَيْرٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَاباً وَخَيْرٌ اَمَلاً ## Transcription Almalu walbanoona zeenatu alhayatiaddunya walbaqiyatu assalihatukhayrun AAinda rabbika thawaban wakhayrun amala ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Wealth and sons are the embellishment of the life of this world. But, in your Lord’s sight, right actions which are lasting bring a better reward and are a better basis for hope. ### Progressive Muslims Wealth and buildings are the beauty of this life. But the good deeds that remain behind are better with your Lord for a reward, and better for hope. ### Shabbir Ahmed (Our Bounties and Blessings are for you to enjoy, but they are a means to a higher end (7:32)). Wealth and children are the joys of the life of this world. But good deeds that fulfill the needs of others, their fruit endures forever.
