Surah Al-Jathiyah (Crouching) — سورة الجاثية - **Verse:** 34 / 37 · **Juz:** 26 · **Mushaf page:** 501 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-jathiyah/verse-34 ## Arabic وَق۪يلَ الْيَوْمَ نَنْسٰيكُمْ كَمَا نَس۪يتُمْ لِقَٓاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هٰذَا وَمَأْوٰيكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ نَاصِر۪ينَ ## Transcription Waqeela alyawma nansakum kamanaseetum liqaa yawmikum hatha wama/wakumu annaruwama lakum min nasireen ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley They will be told, ‘Today We have forgotten you as you forgot the meeting of this your Day. Your refuge is the Fire and you have no helpers. ### Progressive Muslims And it will be said to them: "Today We will forget you, just as you forgot the meeting of this Day. And your abode is the Fire, and you will have no helpers." ### Shabbir Ahmed And it will be said, "This Day We forget you, just as you forgot the meeting of this your Day. The Fire shall now be your abode, and you shall have none to come to your aid. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab And they are told: "Now is the Day we forget you and you will be left to twist and turn in the scorching flames of Hell, in vindication of the right you had willfully forgotten; You neglected the noble discourse, addressed to you; you disregarded Allah and His Omnipotence to effect what He will, and you failed to advance what would serve as a future security on this momentous Day, therefore it serves you right to be in Hell which punishes wrong and avenges crime, and no one now can afford you help", ### Bijan Moeinian God will then say: "Today I forget about you as you forgot about your being held responsible on this Day of Judgment. Your abode is the Hellfire and nobody is going to help you." ### Al-Hilali & Khan And it will be said: "This Day We will forget you as you forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours. (Dünyadaki) yardımcılar (ınız) dan (bugün) sizi (kurtaracak) hiçbir (şey ve kimse de) yokdur". ### İbni Kesir Denilir ki: Siz, nasıl bugüne kavuşacağınızı unuttuysanız, Biz de sizi unuttuk.
