Surah Al-Isra (The Night Journey) — سورة الإسراء - **Verse:** 86 / 111 · **Juz:** 15 · **Mushaf page:** 289 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-isra/verse-86 ## Arabic وَلَئِنْ شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنَّ بِالَّـذ۪ٓي اَوْحَيْنَٓا اِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ بِه۪ عَلَيْنَا وَك۪يلاًۙ ## Transcription Wala-in shi/na lanathhabannabillathee awhayna ilayka thumma latajidu laka bihi AAalayna wakeela ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley If We wished We could take away what We have revealed to you and then you would not find any to guard you from Us – ### Progressive Muslims And if We wished, We would take away that which We have inspired to you. Then you would not find for yourself with it against Us a caretaker. ### Shabbir Ahmed (Revelation from Us is the extrinsic knowledge, as distinct from intrinsic inspiration.
