Surah Al-Isra (The Night Journey) — سورة الإسراء - **Verse:** 17 / 111 · **Juz:** 15 · **Mushaf page:** 282 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-isra/verse-17 ## Arabic وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا مِنَ الْقُرُونِ مِنْ بَعْدِ نُوحٍۜ وَكَفٰى بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِه۪ خَب۪يراً بَص۪يراً ## Transcription Wakam ahlakna mina alqurooni minbaAAdi noohin wakafa birabbika bithunoobiAAibadihi khabeeran baseera ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley How many generations We destroyed after Nuh! Your Lord is well able to be aware of and see the wrong actions of His slaves! ### Progressive Muslims And how many a generation have We destroyed after Noah And it is enough for your Lord to have knowledge and sight over the sins of His servants. ### Shabbir Ahmed How many generations has Our Law annihilated since Noah!
