Surah Al-Isra (The Night Journey) — سورة الإسراء - **Verse:** 103 / 111 · **Juz:** 15 · **Mushaf page:** 291 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-isra/verse-103 ## Arabic فَاَرَادَ اَنْ يَسْتَفِزَّهُمْ مِنَ الْاَرْضِ فَاَغْرَقْنَاهُ وَمَنْ مَعَهُ جَم۪يعاًۙ ## Transcription Faarada an yastafizzahum mina al-ardifaaghraqnahu waman maAAahu jameeAAa ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley He wanted to scare them from the land but We drowned him and every one of those with him. ### Progressive Muslims So he wanted to entice them out of the land. But We drowned him and all those with him. ### Shabbir Ahmed Pharaoh resolved to wipe off Moses and his followers from the face of the earth.
