And the companions of the rocky tract denied the emissaries.
The people of al-Hijr denied the Messengers.
And the dwellers of the cavern disbelieved the messengers.
And likewise indeed, the dwellers in
And the companions of the rocky tract denied the emissaries.
Andthe dwellers of the enclosure disbelieved the messengers.
The dwellers of the cavern rejected the messengers.
The people of Al-Hijr disbelieved the messengers.
The people of Al-Hijr denied Our apostles;
And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers.
AND, indeed, the people of Al-Hijr gave the lie to message-bearers:
And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers.
Surely the people of al-Hijr* also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars.
Similarly did the dwellers of the rocky territory -the Thamudites- deny the truth of the divine message conveyed to them by the Messengers and were wrongful of actions.
The People of Al-Hijr (located at north-west of Madina) also rejected their Prophets.
And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers.
The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers:
Indeed, the residents of the Stone Valley also denied the messengers.
And the people of Al-Hijr gave the lie to the messengers.
The people of al-Hijr also rejected Our messengers:
The dwellers in El-Hijr cried lies to the Envoys.
And the fellows of El 'Hagr called the messengers liars,
And the companions of Al-Hijr (the Rocky Tract) also rejected the messengers.
And indeed the companions (i. e., the inhabitants) of Al- Hijr readily cried lies to the Emissaries.
And the inhabitants of Al Hejr likewise heretofore accused the messengers of God of imposture:
And verily, the companions of the Rocky Trail also rejected the messengers:
And the dwellers of the Hijr (- a township of Thamûd lying between Tabûk and Madînah, also) cried lies to the Messengers.
Certainly the inhabitants of Ḥijr denied the apostles.
