Surah Al-Hijr (The Rock) — سورة الحجر - **Verse:** 23 / 99 · **Juz:** 14 · **Mushaf page:** 262 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-hijr/verse-23 ## Arabic وَاِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْـي۪ وَنُم۪يتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ ## Transcription Wa-inna lanahnu nuhyeewanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley It is We who give life and cause to die and We are the Inheritor. ### Progressive Muslims And it is indeed We who give life and death, and We are the inheritors. ### Shabbir Ahmed For, it is We, We alone Who control the Laws of life and death, and it is We alone Who remain the Ultimate Inheritor.
