Surah Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage) — سورة الحج - **Verse:** 6 / 78 · **Juz:** 17 · **Mushaf page:** 332 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-hajj/verse-6 ## Arabic ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّ اللّٰهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَاَنَّهُ يُحْـيِ الْمَوْتٰى وَاَنَّهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَد۪يرٌۙ ## Transcription Thalika bi-anna Allaha huwa alhaqquwaannahu yuhyee almawta waannahu AAala kullishay-in qadeer ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley That is because Allah is the Real and gives life to the dead and has power over all things ### Progressive Muslims That is because God is the truth, and He gives life to the dead, and He is capable of all things. ### Shabbir Ahmed All this happens because Allah alone is the Ultimate Truth and He alone revives the dead and because He has Supreme Control over all things and events. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation For it is that God, He is the Truth; and that He gives life to the dead; and that He is over all things powerful; ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation That is because God is the truth, and He gives life to the dead, and He is capable of all things. ### Rashad Khalifa — The Final Testament This proves that GOD is the Truth, and that He revives the dead, and that He is Omnipotent. ### Mohamed Ahmed - Samira That is so for God is the undeniable Reality. (2) Allah’s existence is not merely a supposition but it is a reality. He is not only the first cause but has supreme authority, and is conducting every affair in the universe according to His Will, Knowledge and Wisdom. (3) All His designs and works are based on truth and are, therefore, serious, meaningful and full of wisdom. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab This is by reason of Allah's attributes. He is Truth personified and He is it Who raises the dead and restores them to life and He is indeed Qadirun (Omnipotent) over all things and to accomplish what He will. ### Bijan Moeinian Thus you should realize that your Lord is Truthful.
