Surah Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage) — سورة الحج - **Verse:** 56 / 78 · **Juz:** 17 · **Mushaf page:** 338 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-hajj/verse-56 ## Arabic اَلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلّٰهِۜ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْۜ فَالَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ ف۪ي جَنَّاتِ النَّع۪يمِ ## Transcription Almulku yawma-ithin lillahi yahkumubaynahum fallatheena amanoo waAAamiloo assalihatifee jannati annaAAeem ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Sovereignty on that Day will be Allah’s. He will judge between them. Those who have iman and do right actions will be in Gardens of Delight. ### Progressive Muslims The sovereignty on that Day is to God, He will judge between them. So as for those who have believed and did good works, they are in the gardens of Paradise. ### Shabbir Ahmed On that Day all Dominion will visibly belong to Allah, and His Law and His Judgment will prevail in the human society as well (through this Divine writ). Then those who believe in this Divine Revelation and contribute to the advancement of the society, will be in the Gardens of Delight, in this world and in the Hereafter. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation The dominion, that day, belongs to God; He will judge between them. Then will those who heed warning and do righteous deeds be in the Gardens of Bliss, ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation Thesovereignty on that Day is to God, He will judge between them. So as for those who have believed and did good works, they are in gardens of bliss. ### Rashad Khalifa — The Final Testament All sovereignty on that day belongs to GOD, and He will judge among them. As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they have deserved the gardens of bliss. ### Mohamed Ahmed - Samira The order will be God's on that Day; He will judge between them. Then those who had come to believe and done the right will be in gardens of delight. ### Sahih International — (Umm Muhammad, Mary Kennedy, Amatullah Bantley) [All] sovereignty that Day is for Allah ; He will judge between them. Then those who believed and acted righteously shall be in Gardens of Bliss. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab There and then shall the Sovereign Authority and the right of controlling be exclusively that of Allah Who sits in judgement to confer the beatitude and the gardens of bliss on those whose hearts were imprinted with the image of religious and spiritual virtues and their deeds with wisdom and piety. ### Bijan Moeinian On that Day, God will exercise His Power (and will end the freedom of choice that He has given to mankind and other creatures of His. ) He will judge between His creatures. He will judge between them.
