Surah Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage) — سورة الحج - **Verse:** 48 / 78 · **Juz:** 17 · **Mushaf page:** 337 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-hajj/verse-48 ## Arabic وَكَاَيِّنْ مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ اَمْلَيْتُ لَهَا وَهِيَ ظَالِمَةٌ ثُمَّ اَخَذْتُهَاۚ وَاِلَيَّ الْمَص۪يرُ۟ ## Transcription Wakaayyin min qaryatin amlaytu lahawahiya thalimatun thumma akhathtuhawa-ilayya almaseer ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley How many wrongdoing cities I allowed time to and then I seized them. I am their final destination! ### Progressive Muslims And many a town I have given it respite while it was doing wrong, then I seized it!
