Surah Al-Hadid (The Iron) — سورة الحديد - **Verse:** 15 / 29 · **Juz:** 27 · **Mushaf page:** 538 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-hadid/verse-15 ## Arabic فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْكُمْ فِدْيَةٌ وَلَا مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُواۜ مَأْوٰيكُمُ النَّارُۜ هِيَ مَوْلٰيكُمْۜ وَبِئْسَ الْمَص۪يرُ ## Transcription Falyawma la yu/khathuminkum fidyatun wala mina allatheena kafaroo ma/wakumuannaru hiya mawlakum wabi/sa almaseer ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley So today no ransom will be accepted from you or from those who were kafir. Your refuge is the Fire. It is your master. What an evil destination!’ ### Progressive Muslims "This Day, no ransom can be taken from you, nor from those who disbelieved. You were with Satan till the last moment. Consequently, you can not buy your way out on the Day of Judgment, neither can the disbelievers. Hell is the only proper place for the hypocrites and the disbeliever who never took God as their Lord. What an evil destiny. ### Al-Hilali & Khan So this Day no ransom shall be taken from you (hypocrites), nor of those who disbelieved, (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism). Your abode is the Fire.
