“He had almost led us astray from our gods, were we not steadfast towards them.” And they will know, when they see the punishment, who is further astray in the path.

He might almost have misled us from our gods had we not stuck to them steadfastly!’ They will soon know, when they see the punishment, whose way is the most misguided.
"He nearly diverted us from our gods had we not been patient for them. " They will learn when they see the retribution who is on a path most astray.
He would have led us far away from our gods if we were not staunch to them. " They will know, when they see the doom, as to who is more astray from the Path.
“He had almost led us astray from our gods, were we not steadfast towards them.” And they will know, when they see the punishment, who is further astray in the path.
"Henearly diverted us from our gods had we not been patient for them." They will learn when they see the retribution who is on a path most astray.
"He nearly diverted us from our gods had we not been patient for them." When they see the retribution, they will learn who is on a path most astray.
"He almost diverted us from our gods, if it were not that we steadfastly persevered with them." They will certainly find out, when they see the retribution, who are the real strayers from the path.
He would have surely turned us away from our gods if we had not adhered to them. " They will know soon who is farther away from the path when they see the punishment!
He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in them. " But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in way.
Indeed, he would well-nigh have led us astray from our deities, had we not been steadfastly attached to them!" But in time, when they see the suffering , they will come to know who it was that went farthest astray from the path !
He would have led us far away from our gods if we had not been staunch to them. They will know, when they behold the doom, who is more astray as to the road.
Had we not firmly persevered in our devotion to them* (he had almost) led us astray from our gods." But soon, when they see the chastisement, they will come to know who had strayed too far from the Right Way.
"He almost succeeded", they add, "in influencing our thoughts against our gods and he nearly made us err and our sober wishes almost learned to stray, had it not been for our firmness and constancy". But on the day they are confronted with the torment laid upon the damned they shall then realize who had been lost in the blind mazes of entangled wood.
They will continue: "He almost succeeded in misleading us. If we had not been perseverant in worshipping our gods, we would have been misled by now!" They will realize who is misled, when they come face to face with their punishment.
"He would have nearly misled us from our âlihah (gods), had it not been that we were patient and constant in their worship!" And they will know when they see the torment, who it is that is most astray from the (Right) Path!
"He indeed would well-nigh have misled us from our gods, had it not been that we were constant to them!" - Soon will they know, when they see the Penalty, who it is that is most misled in Path!
He would have almost tricked us away from our gods, had we not been so devoted to them." ˹But˺ soon they will know, when they face the punishment, who is far astray from the ˹Right˺ Way.
He would have almost led us astray from our gods, had we not been so firm towards them." They will know when they will see the punishment, who is farther astray in his way.
He might almost have led us astray from our gods if we had not stood so firmly by them.’ When they see the punishment, they will know who is furthest from the path.
Wellnigh he had led us astray from our gods, but that we kept steadfast to them. ' Assuredly they shall know, when they see the chastisement, who is further astray from the way.
he well-nigh leads us astray from our gods, had we not been patient about them. ' But they shall know, when they see the torment, who errs most from the path.
And when they see you (Muhammad) they only took you for a jest, "Is this he whom Allah has sent as a Messenger?
Decidedly he had almost made us, indeed, to err away from our gods, had we not (suffered ourselves) to endure patiently with them. " And eventually they will know, while they see the tornment, who has erred further from the way.
Verily he had almost drawn us aside from the worship of our gods; if we had not firmly persevered in our devotion towards them. But they shall know hereafter, when they shall see the punishment prepared for them, who hath strayed more widely from the right path.
"Truly, he would have almost misled us from our gods, if we were not unchanging towards them!"— Soon will they know, when they see the penalty, who it is that is most misled from the (true) path!
`He indeed had well-nigh led us astray from our gods if we had not adhered to them steadfastly. ' And they shall soon know for certain, when they see the punishment who had completely lost the straight path.
Indeed he was about to lead us astray from our gods, had we not stood by them. ’ Soon they will know, when they sight the punishment, who is further astray from the way.
