Surah Al-Furqan (The Criterion) — سورة الفرقان - **Verse:** 37 / 77 · **Juz:** 19 · **Mushaf page:** 362 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-furqan/verse-37 ## Arabic وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَمَّا كَذَّبُوا الرُّسُلَ اَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ اٰيَةًۜ وَاَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِم۪ينَ عَـذَاباً اَل۪يماًۚ ## Transcription Waqawma noohin lamma kaththabooarrusula aghraqnahum wajaAAalnahum linnasiayatan waaAAtadna liththalimeenaAAathaban aleema ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley And when the people of Nuh denied the Messengers, We drowned them and made them a Sign for all mankind. We have prepared a painful punishment for the wrongdoers. ### Progressive Muslims And the people of Noah, when they denied the messengers We drowned them, and We made them a lesson for mankind.
