Surah Al-Furqan (The Criterion) — سورة الفرقان - **Verse:** 36 / 77 · **Juz:** 19 · **Mushaf page:** 362 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-furqan/verse-36 ## Arabic فَقُلْنَا اذْهَبَٓا اِلَى الْقَوْمِ الَّذ۪ينَ كَذَّبُوا بِاٰيَاتِنَاۜ فَدَمَّرْنَاهُمْ تَدْم۪يراًۜ ## Transcription Faqulna ithhaba ilaalqawmi allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinafadammarnahum tadmeera ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley We said, ‘Go to the people who have denied Our Signs,’ and We annihilated them completely. ### Progressive Muslims So We said: "Go both of you to the people who have denied Our signs. " So We then destroyed them utterly. ### Shabbir Ahmed Then We said, "Go you both to the people who defy Our Laws!" Then We annihilated them (the deniers), a complete annihilation. ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation And We said: “Go to the people who have denied Our proofs”; then We annihilated them completely. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation So We said: "Go both of you to the people who have denied Our signs."
