leaving them like chewed up straw.
and thus He turned them into an eaten-up chaff.
He made them cropped stubble.
and He made them like green blades devoured.
and make them like blades of herbage eaten down?
And make them like stalks left by herbage eaten down?
So He made them like green blades eaten (up).
and render them like the leaves of corn eaten by cattle?
Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up.
And thus He reduced them to rotten chaff (and in a similar way will they be ruined who would ever make an attack to destroy Ka`bah).
thus making them like chewed-up straw?
