Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow) — سورة البقرة - **Verse:** 201 / 286 · **Juz:** 2 · **Mushaf page:** 30 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-baqarah/verse-201 ## Arabic وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ رَبَّنَٓا اٰتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْاٰخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ## Transcription Waminhum man yaqoolu rabbana atinafee addunya hasanatan wafee al-akhiratihasanatan waqina AAathaba annar ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley And there are others who say, ‘Our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the Next World, and safeguard us from the punishment of the Fire. ’ ### Progressive Muslims And some of them Say: "Our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the Hereafter, and spare us from the retribution of the Fire. " ### Shabbir Ahmed And among men and women are those who forsake not the Hereafter for this world, and forsake not this life for the Hereafter. They are the ones who insure themselves against Fire. They say, "Our Lord!
