_In the name of God, the Almighty, the Merciful._

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

## Verse 1

وَالْعَصْرِۙ

WalAAasr

By the span of time!

## Verse 2

اِنَّ الْاِنْسَانَ لَف۪ي خُسْرٍۙ

Inna al-insana lafee khusr

Man is in loss,

## Verse 3

اِلَّا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ

Illa allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati watawasaw bilhaqqiwatawasaw bissabr

Save those who heed warning and do righteous deeds, and counsel one another to truth, and counsel one another to patience.
