Surah Al-A'raf (The Heights) — سورة الأعراف - **Verse:** 75 / 206 · **Juz:** 8 · **Mushaf page:** 159 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-araf/verse-75 ## Arabic قَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذ۪ينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا مِنْ قَوْمِه۪ لِلَّذ۪ينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِمَنْ اٰمَنَ مِنْهُمْ اَتَعْلَمُونَ اَنَّ صَالِحاً مُرْسَلٌ مِنْ رَبِّه۪ۜ قَالُٓوا اِنَّا بِمَٓا اُرْسِلَ بِه۪ مُؤْمِنُونَ ## Transcription Qala almalao allatheenaistakbaroo min qawmihi lillatheena istudAAifooliman amana minhum ataAAlamoona anna salihanmursalun min rabbihi qaloo inna bima orsilabihi mu/minoon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley The ruling circle of those of his people who were arrogant said to those who were oppressed – those among them who had iman – ‘Do you know that Salih has been sent from his Lord?’ They said, ‘We have iman in what he has been sent with. ’ ### Progressive Muslims The leaders who were arrogant from among his people said to those who were weak and believed from amongst them: "How do you know that Saleh was sent from his Lord" They said: "We believe in what he has been sent with. " ### Shabbir Ahmed Their leaders said to the believers, "How do you know that Saleh is sent from his Lord?" They responded, "We believe in the Message he has brought.
