And We divided them in the earth into communities — some of them righteous, and some of them other than that — and We tried them with good things and evil deeds, that they might return.

وَقَطَّعْنَاهُمْ فِي الْاَرْضِ اُمَماًۚ مِنْهُمُ الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنْهُمْ دُونَ ذٰلِكَۘ وَبَلَوْنَاهُمْ بِالْحَسَنَاتِ وَالسَّيِّـَٔاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
