Surah Al-'Ankabut (The Spider) — سورة العنكبوت - **Verse:** 62 / 69 · **Juz:** 21 · **Mushaf page:** 402 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-ankabut/verse-62 ## Arabic اَللّٰهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَٓاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِه۪ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَل۪يمٌ ## Transcription Allahu yabsutu arrizqaliman yashao min AAibadihi wayaqdiru lahu inna Allahabikulli shay-in AAaleem ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Allah expands the provision of any of His slaves He wills and restricts it. Allah has knowledge of all things. ### Progressive Muslims God expands the provision for whomever He chooses from among His servants, and withholds it. God is fully aware of all things. ### Shabbir Ahmed Allah widens His provision to His servants (societies) according to His Laws, and He restricts it accordingly. For, Allah is Knower of all things (not excluding the best socio-economic Order for mankind). ### Sam Gerrans — The Qur'an: A Complete Revelation God expands provision for whom He wills of His servants, and He straitens for him; God knows all things. ### The Monotheist Group — The Quran: A Monotheist Translation God expands the provision for whoever He chooses from among His servants, and withholds it. God is fully aware of all things. ### Rashad Khalifa — The Final Testament GOD is the One who increases the provision for whomever He chooses from among His creatures, and withholds it. GOD is fully aware of all things. ### Mohamed Ahmed - Samira God increases the means of those of His creatures as He please, or limits them for whomsoever He will. He is certainly cognisant of everything. ### Sahih International — (Umm Muhammad, Mary Kennedy, Amatullah Bantley) Allah extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts for him. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing. ### Muhammad Asad God grants abundant sustenance, or gives it in scant measure, to whichever He wills of His crea­tures: for, behold, God has full knowledge of every­thing. ### Marmaduke Pickthall Allah maketh the provision wide for whom He will of His bondmen, and straiteneth it for whom (He will). Lo! Allah is Aware of all things. ### Abul A'la Maududi — Tafhim commentary Allah enlarges the sustenance of any of His servants whom He will, and straitens the sustenance of whom He will. Surely Allah has knowledge of everything. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab Allah gives livelihood generously and confers support gratuitously on whom He will of His servants and He also gives with restraint and by measure to whom He Will. He is indeed Alimun of all things. ### Bijan Moeinian God is the One Who gives more to some of His servants and less to the others. [there is a reason for this inequitable distribution of income as] God knows the best. ### Al-Hilali & Khan Allâh enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and straitens it for whom (He wills). Verily, Allâh is the All-Knower of everything. ### Abdullah Yusuf Ali Allah enlarges the sustenance (which He gives) to whichever of His servants He pleases; and He (similarly) grants by (strict) measure, (as He pleases): for Allah has full knowledge of all things. ### Mustafa Khattab — The Clear Quran Allah gives abundant or limited provisions to whoever He wills of His servants. Surely Allah has ˹full˺ knowledge of everything. ### Taqi Usmani Allah extends provision to whom He wills from His servants, and straitens it (for whom He wills). Surely Allah knows every thing well. ### Abdul Haleem It is God who gives abundantly to whichever of His servants He will, and sparingly to whichever He will: He has full knowledge of everything. ### Arthur John Arberry God outspreads and straitens His provision to whomsoever He will of His servants; God has knowledge of everything. ### E. De ki: Hamd Allah'adır.
