And be not like those who come forth from their homes boastfully, and to be seen of men, and turn away from the path of God; and God encompasses what they do.

Do not be like those who left their homes in arrogance, showing off to people and barring them from the way of Allah – Allah encompasses what they do –
And do not be like those who came out from their homes to boast and to be seen by men, and they repel others away from the path of God. God is aware of what they do.
Do not be like the disbelievers who come out of their homes boastfully and to show off, although they come forth to hinder people from the Path of Allah. Allah encompasses all actions that people do.

Do not be like those who marched arrogantly displaying their force to the spectators. These are the people who prevent people from following the Lord’s path. God is fully aware what they are doing.
And be not like those who come out of their homes boastfully and to be seen of men, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allâh; and Allâh is Muhîtun (encircling and thoroughly comprehending) all that they do.

And do not be like those who started (for war) from their homes haughtily and to be seen by men, and to want to stop (men) from the Path of Allah: For Allah controls all about all that they do.
And be not like those who marched forth from their homes (at the time of Battle of Badr) boastfully and making an ostentatious display of themselves to the people, and who hindered (the people) from following the path of Allâh. And Allâh is the Destroyer of whatever they do (against Islam).
Do not be like those who left their homes vainly and to show off to the people, and to bar from the way of Allah, and Allah comprehends what they do.
