Surah Al-Anbiya (The Prophets) — سورة الأنبياء - **Verse:** 56 / 112 · **Juz:** 17 · **Mushaf page:** 325 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-anbiya/verse-56 ## Arabic قَالَ بَلْ رَبُّكُمْ رَبُّ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ الَّذ۪ي فَطَرَهُنَّۘ وَاَنَا۬ عَلٰى ذٰلِكُمْ مِنَ الشَّاهِد۪ينَ ## Transcription Qala bal rabbukum rabbu assamawatiwal-ardi allathee fatarahunna waanaAAala thalikum mina ashshahideen ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley He said, ‘Far from it! Your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, He who brought them into being. I am one of those who bear witness to that. ### Progressive Muslims He said: "No, your lord is the Lord of heavens and Earth, the One who initiated them. And I bear witness to such." ### Shabbir Ahmed He said, "Nay, your Lord is the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth, Who initiated them from nothing.
