Surah Al-Anbiya (The Prophets) — سورة الأنبياء - **Verse:** 43 / 112 · **Juz:** 17 · **Mushaf page:** 324 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-anbiya/verse-43 ## Arabic اَمْ لَهُمْ اٰلِهَةٌ تَمْنَعُهُمْ مِنْ دُونِنَاۜ لَا يَسْتَط۪يعُونَ نَصْرَ اَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ مِنَّا يُصْحَبُونَ ## Transcription Am lahum alihatun tamnaAAuhum mindoonina la yastateeAAoona nasraanfusihim wala hum minna yushaboon ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Or do they have gods besides Us who will protect them? They cannot even help themselves! They will not be safe from Us. ### Progressive Muslims Or do they have gods that will protect them from Us They cannot help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us. ### Shabbir Ahmed Do they have gods who can shield them from Our Laws?
