And when those who ignore warning see thee, they take thee only in mockery: “Is this he who mentions your gods!” And they — of the remembrance of the Almighty — they are deniers.

When those who are kafir see you, they only make a mockery out of you: ‘Is this the one who makes mention of your gods?’ Yet they are kuffar about the mention of the All-Merciful.
And when those who reject see you, they take you for mockery: "Is this the one who speaks about your gods!" While in the remembrance of the Almighty they are rejecters!
(O Prophet) whenever the rejecters see you, they make you a target of their mockery, saying, "Is this the one who talks of your gods?" And yet, it is they who deny all mention of (the True God) the Beneficent.
And when those who ignore warning see thee, they take thee only in mockery: “Is this he who mentions your gods!” And they — of the remembrance of the Almighty — they are deniers.
Andwhen those who reject see you, they take you for mockery: "Is this the one who speaks about your gods!" While in the remembrance of the Almighty they are rejecters!
When those who reject see you, they take you for mockery: "Is this the one who speaks about your gods!" While in the remembrance of the Gracious they are ingrates!
When those who disbelieve see you, they ridicule you: "Is this the one who challenges your gods?" Meanwhile, they remain totally heedless of the message from the Most Gracious.
But when the unbelievers see you they make fun of you (and say): "Is this the one who mentions your gods (deridingly)?" Yet in Ar-Rahman they disbelieve!
And when those who disbelieve see you, , they take you not except in ridicule, , "Is this the one who insults your gods?" And they are, at the mention of the Most Merciful, disbelievers.
But whenever they who are bent on denying the truth consider thee, they make thee but a target of their mockery, "Is this the one who speaks of your gods?" and yet, it is they themselves who, at mention of the Most Gracious, are wont to deny the truth!
And when those who disbelieve behold thee, they but choose thee out for mockery, (saying): Is this he who maketh mention of your gods? And they would deny all mention of the Beneficent.
When the unbelievers see you they make you an object of fun, saying: "Is he the one who mentions your gods?"* They say so, and yet they reject with disdain the very mention of the Most Compassionate Lord.*
And when the infidels see you O Muhammad they receive you with nothing but disdain and scorn which ride sparkling in their eyes and they say: "Is this the one who blasphemes your gods! And when Al Rahman is mentioned, their countenances speak blasphemy against Him.
When you see the disbelievers, they will make fun of you and say: "Is this the man who does not believe in gods?" In fact, they are the ones who disbelieve in the Most Gracious.
And when those who disbelieved (in the Oneness of Allâh) see you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), they take you not except for mockery (saying): "Is this the one who talks (badly) about your gods?" While they disbelieve at the mention of the Most Gracious (Allâh). .
When the Unbelievers see thee, they treat thee not except with ridicule. "Is this," (they say), "the one who talks of your gods?" and they blaspheme at the mention of (Allah) Most Gracious!
When the disbelievers see you ˹O Prophet˺, they only make fun of you, ˹saying,˺ "Is this the one who speaks ˹ill˺ of your gods?" while they disbelieve at the mention of the Most Compassionate.
When disbelievers see you, they do nothing but take you in jest (saying to one another,) "Is this the one who talks of your gods?" - while they themselves reject even talking of the RaHmān (All-Merciful).
When the disbelievers see you, they laugh at you: ‘Is this the one who talks about your gods?’ They reject any talk of the Lord of Mercy.
When the unbelievers behold thee, they take thee only for mockery: 'Ha, is this the one who makes mention of your gods?' Yet they in the Remembrance of the All-merciful are unbelievers.
And when those who misbelieve see thee, they only take thee for a jest, 'Is this he who mentions your gods?' Yet they at the mention of the Merciful do disbelieve.
Every soul must taste of death. We will test you with evil and with good, as a trial; and unto Us will you be returned.
And when the ones who have disbelieved see you, decidedly they take you only for mockery, (saying), "Is this the one who makes mention of (i. e., mentions (their uselessness) your gods?" And they are they who in the Remembrance of The All-Merciful are the ones (who) are disbelievers.
When the unbelievers see thee, they receive thee only with scoffing, saying, is this he who mentioneth your gods with contempt? Yet themselves believe not what is mentioned to them of the Merciful.
And when the disbelievers see you, they treat you only with ridicule. "Is this," (they say), "the one who talks of your gods?" And they lie (and slander) at the mention about (Allah,) the Most Gracious (Rahmán)!
And when those who disbelieve see you, they hold you for a mere trifle (and say), `Is this the fellow who speaks (ill) of your gods?' While it is they themselves who deny (disdainfully) the great Eminence of the Most Gracious (God).
Whenever the faithless see you they only take you in derision: ‘Is this the one who speaks ill of your gods?’ And they defy the remembrance of the All-beneficent.
