Surah Al-An'am (The Cattle) — سورة الأنعام - **Verse:** 27 / 165 · **Juz:** 7 · **Mushaf page:** 129 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-anam/verse-27 ## Arabic وَلَوْ تَرٰٓى اِذْ وُقِفُوا عَلَى النَّارِ فَقَالُوا يَا لَيْتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِاٰيَاتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ ## Transcription Walaw tara ith wuqifoo AAalaannari faqaloo ya laytananuraddu wala nukaththiba bi-ayatirabbina wanakoona mina almu/mineen ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley If only you could see when they are standing before the Fire and saying, ‘Oh! If only we could be sent back again, we would not deny the Signs of our Lord and we would be among the muminun. ’ ### Progressive Muslims And if you could see when they are standing over the Fire, they Say: "If only we could be sent back, we would not deny the revelations of our Lord, and we would be believers!" ### Shabbir Ahmed If only you could see them when they face the Fire!
