And when We took from the prophets their agreement, and from thee, and from Noah and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus, son of Mary — and We took from them a stern agreement —

When We made a covenant with all the Prophets – with you and with Nuh and Ibrahim and Musa and ‘Isa son of Maryam – We made a binding covenant with them,
And when We took from the prophets their covenant. And from you, and from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary; We took from them a strong covenant.
And, behold, We did take a pledge from all the Prophets - from you (O Prophet) as well as from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus son of Mary - We took a very solemn pledge from all of them.
And when We took from the prophets their agreement, and from thee, and from Noah and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus, son of Mary — and We took from them a stern agreement —
And when We took from the prophets their covenant. And from you, and from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus, son of Mary; We took from them a solemn covenant.
When We took from the prophets their covenant. From you, and from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary; We took from them a strong covenant.
Recall that we took from the prophets their covenant, including you (O Muhammad), Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary. We took from them a solemn pledge. *
When We made the covenant with the prophets, and with you, as with Noah and Abraham, Moses and Jesus son of Mary, a binding covenant,
And , when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.
AND LO! We did accept a solemn pledge from all the prophets from thee, as well as from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary -: for We accepted a most weighty, solemn pledge from them,
And when We exacted a covenant from the prophets, and from thee (O Muhammad) and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus son of Mary. We took from them a solemn covenant;
And call to mind, (O Prophet), when We took the covenant from all Prophets; and also from you and Noah and Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary. We took from them a solemn covenant*
We entered into a covenant with each of the prophets of the past to fulfill the duty entrusted to them by Allah just as We entered into a covenant with you and with Nuh (Noah), with Ibrahim (Abraham) and with Mussa (Moses) and with 'Isa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary), and We bound them to a solemn and serious covenant,
Remember the solemn promise that you (Mohammad), Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus (son of Mary) and all other prophets made to Me; a very solid promise
And (remember) when We took from the Prophets their covenant, and from you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), and from Nûh (Noah), Ibrâhîm (Abraham), Mûsâ (Moses), and ‘Îsâ (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary). We took from them a strong covenant.
And remember We took from the prophets their covenant: As (We did) from thee: from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary: We took from them a solemn covenant:
And ˹remember˺ when We took a covenant from the prophets, as well as from you ˹O Prophet˺, and from Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, son of Mary. We did take a solemn covenant from ˹all of˺ them
And (recall) when We took from the prophets their covenant, and from you and from NūH and Ibrāhīm and Mūsā and ‘Īsā, the son of Maryam, and We did take from them a firm covenant,
We took a solemn pledge from the prophets- from you , from Noah, from Abraham, from Moses, from Jesus, son of Mary- We took a solemn pledge from all of them:
And when We took compact from the Prophets, and from thee, and from Noah, and Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, Mary's son; We took from them a solemn compact,
And when we took of the prophets their compact, from thee and from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary, and took of them a rigid compact,
The Prophet is closer to (has a greater claim on) the faithful than they have on themselves, and his wives are (as) their mothers; and the possessors of (genetic) relationship have the better claim in the ordinance of Allah to inheritance, one with respect to another, than other believers, and Muhajir (those who fled from Mecca), except that you do some good to your friends; this is written in the Book
And as We took from the Prophets their Compact and from you and from Nûh, and Ibrahîm, and Mûsa, and Isa son of Maryam. (Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus of Mary respectively) And We took from them a solemn compact.
Remember when we accepted their covenant from the prophets, and from thee, O Mohammed, and from Noah, and Abraham, and Moses, and Jesus the son of Mary, and received from them a firm covenant;
And remember that from the prophets, We took their truest Covenant (their Promise) as (We took, O Prophet!) from you: From Nuh (Noah), Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Moses), and Isa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary). From them, We took a strong Covenant:
And (recall the time) when We made a covenant with the Prophets and We made it with you, and with Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus, son of Mary; and We made a solemn covenant with them.
