Surah Al-Ahzab (The Clans) — سورة الأحزاب - **Verse:** 48 / 73 · **Juz:** 22 · **Mushaf page:** 423 - **Source:** https://quran.so/surah-al-ahzab/verse-48 ## Arabic وَلَا تُطِـعِ الْكَافِر۪ينَ وَالْمُنَافِق۪ينَ وَدَعْ اَذٰيهُمْ وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللّٰهِۜ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ وَك۪يلاً ## Transcription Wala tutiAAi alkafireenawalmunafiqeena wadaAA athahum watawakkalAAala Allahi wakafa billahiwakeela ## Translations ### Aisha Bewley Do not obey the kafirun and hypocrites and disregard their abuse of you. Put your trust in Allah. Allah suffices as a Protector. ### Progressive Muslims And do not obey the rejecters and the hypocrites, and ignore their insults, and put your trust in God; God suffices as an advocate. ### Shabbir Ahmed And heed not the rejecters and the hypocrites. Disregard their insults, and put your trust in Allah. Allah is sufficient as Trustee. ### Abul A'la Maududi — Tafhim commentary Do not yield to the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and disregard the hurt that comes from them, and put your trust in Allah. Allah suffices as the Guardian to entrust one's affairs to. ### Abdel Khalek Himmat — Al- Muntakhab And do not obey the infidels nor the hypocrites nor be influenced by their views or notions and pay no attention to their insults and annoyances and put your trust in Allah and enough is He to be your tutelary Guardian Who exercises protecting vigilance over you. ### Bijan Moeinian Do not yield to the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Take their persecution lightly and put your trust in God. And put your trust in Allâh, and Sufficient is Allâh as a Wakîl (Trustee, or Disposer of affairs).
