And before the break of day they would ask forgiveness,
and they would seek forgiveness before the dawn.
And before dawn, they would seek forgiveness.
And heartily sought to be guarded against their imperfections. ('Sahr' = Morning = Core of the heart (Lisanal Arab). 'Ghafarah' = Helmet = Guarding).
And before the break of day they would ask forgiveness,
And before dawn, they would seek forgiveness.
Before dawn, they would seek forgiveness.
At dawn, they prayed for forgiveness.
And every morning asked forgiveness,
And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,
and would pray for forgiveness from their innermost hearts;
And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness,
and would ask for forgiveness at dawn,*
And they entreated Allah humbly when the stars became invisible at the gleam of dawn: "O Allah they prayed, to err is human, to forgive is divine. We beseech your forgiveness of our errors and our iniquities if we had inadvertently done any".
And around dawn ask their Lord for forgiveness.
And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allâh) for forgiveness.
And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness;
and pray for forgiveness before dawn.
and in the hours before dawn they used to pray for forgiveness,
praying at dawn for God’s forgiveness,
and in the mornings they would ask for forgiveness;
and at the dawn they asked forgiveness.
And in the morning they prayed for forgiveness.
And before dawn, it is they (who) would seek forgiveness.
and early in the morning they asked pardon of God:
And in the hours of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness;
Also in the hours of the early dawn as well they were (found) praying for His protection.
and at dawns they would plead for forgiveness,.
