and as for the beggar, do not scold him.

and as for the beggar drive him not away;
Nor the beggar (or petitioner) drive away,
And as for the beggar, then do not scold (him);
neither repulse the beggar:
Do not shut off the beggar (without listening gently);
And as for the person who seeks (your assistance) do not chide him away.
