Thalika waman yuAAaththimhurumati Allahi fahuwa khayrun lahu AAindarabbihi waohillat lakumu al-anAAamu illa mayutla AAalaykum fajtaniboo arrijsa minaal-awthani wajtaniboo qawla azzoor

That[...]. And whoso honours the sacred things of God, it is better for him in the sight of his Lord. And the cattle are lawful to you save that recited to you. And avoid the abomination of idols. And avoid false speech,

### 29. Surah Al-'Ankabut, Verse 17

اِنَّمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ اَوْثَاناً وَتَخْلُقُونَ اِفْكاًۜ اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لَكُمْ رِزْقاً فَابْتَغُوا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ الرِّزْقَ وَاعْبُدُوهُ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُۜ اِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

Innama taAAbudoona min dooni Allahiawthanan watakhluqoona ifkan inna allatheenataAAbudoona min dooni Allahi la yamlikoona lakumrizqan fabtaghoo AAinda Allahi arrizqa waAAbudoohuwashkuroo lahu ilayhi turjaAAoon

“You but serve, other than God, idols, and create falsehood; those whom you serve, besides God, possess for you no provision. So seek provision with God, and serve Him. And be grateful to Him; to Him will you be returned.

### 29. Surah Al-'Ankabut, Verse 25

وَقَالَ اِنَّمَا اتَّخَذْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ اَوْثَاناًۙ مَوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِي الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَاۚ ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُمْ بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضاًۘ وَمَأْوٰيكُمُ النَّارُ  وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ نَاصِر۪ينَۗ

Waqala innama ittakhathtummin dooni Allahi awthanan mawaddata baynikum fee alhayatiaddunya thumma yawma alqiyamati yakfurubaAAdukum bibaAAdin wayalAAanu baAAdukumbaAAdan wama-wakumu annaru wamalakum min nasireen

And he said: “You have but taken, besides God, idols as love between you in the life of this world. Then on the Day of Resurrection will you deny each other, and curse each other; and your shelter will be the Fire, and you will have no helpers.”
