هُوَ الَّـذ۪ٓي اَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ اٰيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ اُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَاُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌۜ فَاَمَّا الَّذ۪ينَ ف۪ي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَٓاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَٓاءَ تَأْو۪يلِه۪ۚ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْو۪يلَهُٓ اِلَّا اللّٰهُۢ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ اٰمَنَّا بِه۪ۙ   كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَاۚ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ اِلَّٓا اُو۬لُوا الْاَلْبَابِ

Huwa allathee anzala AAalayka alkitabaminhu ayatun muhkamatun hunna ommualkitabi waokharu mutashabihatun faammaallatheena fee quloobihim zayghun fayattabiAAoona matashabaha minhu ibtighaa alfitnati wabtighaata/weelihi wama yaAAlamu ta/weelahu illa Allahuwarrasikhoona fee alAAilmi yaqooloona amannabihi kullun min AAindi rabbina wama yaththakkaruilla oloo al-albab

He it is that sent down upon thee the Writ; among it are explicit proofs: they are the foundation of the Writ; and others are ambiguous. Then as for those in whose hearts is deviation: they follow what is ambiguous thereof, seeking the means of denial, and seeking its interpretation. And no one knows its interpretation save God, and those firm in knowledge; they say: “We believe in it; all is from our Lord.” But only those of insight take heed.

### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 162

لٰكِنِ الرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ مِنْهُمْ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَٓا اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ وَمَٓا اُنْزِلَ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَالْمُق۪يم۪ينَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَالْمُؤْتُونَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ سَنُؤْت۪يهِمْ اَجْراً عَظ۪يماً۟

Lakini arrasikhoonafee alAAilmi minhum walmu/minoona yu/minoona bimaonzila ilayka wama onzila min qablika walmuqeemeenaassalata walmu/toona azzakatawalmu/minoona billahi walyawmi al-akhiriola-ika sanu/teehim ajran AAatheema

But those firm in knowledge and the believers among them believe in what is sent down to thee, and what was sent down before thee, as do the upholders of the duty, and the renderers of the purity, and the believers in God and the Last Day — those will We give a great reward.
