And We gave Jesus, son of Mary the clear signs, and strengthened him with the Spirit of Holiness. And We made not the course which thou wast on save that We might know him who follows the Messenger from him who turns on his heels. And it is hard save for those whom God has guided. Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 253 - **Form in this verse:** ٱلرُّسُلُ — l-rusulu · "(are) the Messengers" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine, plural · nominative case تِلْكَ الرُّسُلُ فَضَّلْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍۢ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ كَلَّمَ اللّٰهُ وَرَفَعَ بَعْضَهُمْ دَرَجَاتٍۜ وَاٰتَيْنَا ع۪يسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَاَيَّدْنَاهُ بِرُوحِ الْقُدُسِۜ وَلَوْ شَٓاءَ اللّٰهُ مَا اقْتَتَلَ الَّذ۪ينَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَٓاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَلٰكِنِ اخْتَلَفُوا فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ اٰمَنَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ كَفَرَۜ وَلَوْ شَٓاءَ اللّٰهُ مَا اقْتَتَلُوا وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَفْعَلُ مَا يُر۪يدُ۟ Tilka arrusulu faddalnabaAAdahum AAala baAAdin minhum man kallamaAllahu warafaAAa baAAdahum darajatin waataynaAAeesa ibna maryama albayyinati waayyadnahubiroohi alqudusi walaw shaa Allahu maiqtatala allatheena min baAAdihim min baAAdi ma jaat-humualbayyinatu walakini ikhtalafoo faminhum man amanawaminhum man kafara walaw shaa Allahu maiqtataloo walakinna Allaha yafAAalu mayureed Those messengers: We gave preference to some of them over others; among them were those to whom God spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, son of Mary the clear signs, and We strengthened him with the Spirit of Holiness. And had God willed, there would not have fought one another those after them after the clear signs had come to them; but they differed, and some of them believed, and some of them denied; and had God willed, they would not have fought one another; but God does what He wills. _https://quran.so/surah-al-baqarah/verse-253.md_ ### 2. Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 49 - **Form in this verse:** وَرَسُولًا — warasūlan · "And (make him) a Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case · indefinite وَرَسُولاً اِلٰى بَن۪ٓي اِسْرَٓائ۪لَ اَنّ۪ي قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِاٰيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْۙ اَنّ۪ٓي اَخْلُقُ لَكُمْ مِنَ الطّ۪ينِ كَهَيْـَٔةِ الطَّيْرِ فَاَنْفُخُ ف۪يهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْراً بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِۚ وَاُبْرِئُ الْاَكْمَهَ وَالْاَبْرَصَ وَاُحْـيِ الْمَوْتٰى بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِۚ وَاُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَۙ ف۪ي بُيُوتِكُمْۜ اِنَّ ف۪ي ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيَةً لَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِن۪ينَۚ Warasoolan ila banee isra-eelaannee qad ji/tukum bi-ayatin min rabbikum annee akhluqulakum mina atteeni kahay-ati attayrifaanfukhu feehi fayakoonu tayran bi-ithni Allahiwaobri-o al-akmaha wal-abrasa waohyeealmawta bi-ithni Allahi waonabbi-okum bimata/kuloona wama taddakhiroona fee buyootikum inna fee thalikalaayatan lakum in kuntum mu/mineen And as a messenger to the children of Israel: “I have come to you with a proof from your Lord, that I create for you from clay the likeness of a bird; then I blow into it and it becomes a bird by the leave of God. And I heal the blind, and the leper, and give life to the dead by the leave of God. Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 81 - **Form in this verse:** رَسُولٌۭ — rasūlun · "a Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case · indefinite وَاِذْ اَخَذَ اللّٰهُ م۪يثَاقَ النَّبِيّ۪نَ لَـمَٓا اٰتَيْتُكُمْ مِنْ كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَٓاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُصَدِّقٌ لِمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِه۪ وَلَتَنْصُرُنَّهُۜ قَالَ ءَاَقْرَرْتُمْ وَاَخَذْتُمْ عَلٰى ذٰلِكُمْ اِصْر۪يۜ قَالُٓوا اَقْرَرْنَاۜ قَالَ فَاشْهَدُوا وَاَنَا۬ مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّاهِد۪ينَ Wa-ith akhatha Allahumeethaqa annabiyyeena lama ataytukummin kitabin wahikmatin thumma jaakumrasoolun musaddiqun lima maAAakum latu/minunna bihiwalatansurunnahu qala aaqrartum waakhathtumAAala thalikum isree qaloo aqrarnaqala fashhadoo waana maAAakum mina ashshahideen And when God took agreement of the prophets: “What I give you of Writ and wisdom, then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you: you shall believe in him and help him.” He said: “Do you affirm and take upon that My covenant?” Said they: “We do affirm.” He said: “Then bear witness; and I am with you among the witnesses.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-81.md_ ### 3. Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 86 - **Form in this verse:** ٱلرَّسُولَ — l-rasūla · "the Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللّٰهُ قَوْماً كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ ا۪يمَانِهِمْ وَشَهِدُٓوا اَنَّ الرَّسُولَ حَقٌّ وَجَٓاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُۜ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِم۪ينَ Kayfa yahdee Allahu qawman kafaroobaAAda eemanihim washahidoo anna arrasoola haqqunwajaahumu albayyinatu wallahu layahdee alqawma aththalimeen How will God guide a people who denied after their faith, and had borne witness that the Messenger is true, and clear signs had come to them? Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 101 - **Form in this verse:** رَسُولُهُۥ ۗ — rasūluhu · "(is) His Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَاَنْتُمْ تُتْلٰى عَلَيْكُمْ اٰيَاتُ اللّٰهِ وَف۪يكُمْ رَسُولُهُۜ وَمَنْ يَعْتَصِمْ بِاللّٰهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَق۪يمٍ۟ Wakayfa takfuroona waantum tutlaAAalaykum ayatu Allahi wafeekum rasooluhuwaman yaAAtasim billahi faqad hudiya ilasiratin mustaqeem And how can you deny, when to you are the proofs of God recited, and in your midst is His messenger? Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 144 - **Form in this verse:** رَسُولٌۭ — rasūlun · "a Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case · indefinite وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ اِلَّا رَسُولٌۚ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُۜ اَفَا۬ئِنْ مَاتَ اَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلٰٓى اَعْقَابِكُمْۜ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلٰى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللّٰهَ شَيْـٔاًۜ وَسَيَجْزِي اللّٰهُ الشَّاكِر۪ينَ Wama muhammadun illarasoolun qad khalat min qablihi arrusulu afa-in mataaw qutila inqalabtum AAala aAAqabikum wamanyanqalib AAala AAaqibayhi falan yadurra Allahashay-an wasayajzee Allahu ashshakireen And Muḥammad is only a messenger; messengers have passed away before him. If then he dies or is killed, will you turn back on your heels? Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 164 - **Form in this verse:** رَسُولًۭا — rasūlan · "a Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case · indefinite لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللّٰهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ اِذْ بَعَثَ ف۪يهِمْ رَسُولاً مِنْ اَنْفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيَاتِه۪ وَيُزَكّ۪يهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَۚ وَاِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَف۪ي ضَلَالٍ مُب۪ينٍ Laqad manna Allahu AAalaalmu/mineena ith baAAatha feehim rasoolan min anfusihimyatloo AAalayhim ayatihi wayuzakkeehimwayuAAallimuhumu alkitaba walhikmata wa-inkanoo min qablu lafee dalalin mubeen God indeed showed favour to the believers when He raised up among them a messenger among themselves, reciting to them His proofs, and increasing them in purity, and teaching them the Writ and wisdom — though they were before in manifest error. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-164.md_ ### 3. Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 179 - **Form in this verse:** رُّسُلِهِۦ — rusulihi · "His Messengers" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine, plural · genitive case مَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَذَرَ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ عَلٰى مَٓا اَنْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ حَتّٰى يَم۪يزَ الْخَب۪يثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِۜ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُطْلِعَكُمْ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَجْتَب۪ي مِنْ رُسُلِه۪ مَنْ يَشَٓاءُ فَاٰمِنُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِه۪ۚ وَاِنْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَتَتَّقُوا فَلَكُمْ اَجْرٌ عَظ۪يمٌ Ma kana Allahu liyatharaalmu/mineena AAala ma antum AAalayhi hattayameeza alkhabeetha mina attayyibi wama kanaAllahu liyutliAAakum AAala alghaybi walakinnaAllaha yajtabee min rusulihi man yashao faaminoobillahi warusulihi wa-in tu/minoo watattaqoofalakum ajrun AAatheem God will not leave the believers in that which you are in until He distinguishes the bad from the good. And God will not apprise you of the Unseen; but God chooses of His messengers whom He wills, so believe in God and His messengers; and if you believe and are in prudent fear, for you is a great reward. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-179.md_ ### 3. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 13 - **Form in this verse:** وَرَسُولَهُۥ — warasūlahu · "and His Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللّٰهِۜ وَمَنْ يُطِـعِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُولَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُ خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَاۜ وَذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظ۪يمُ Tilka hudoodu Allahi waman yutiAAiAllaha warasoolahu yudkhilhu jannatin tajree min tahtihaal-anharu khalideena feeha wathalikaalfawzu alAAatheem Those are the limits of God. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 14 - **Form in this verse:** وَرَسُولَهُۥ — warasūlahu · "and His Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَهُ يُدْخِلْهُ نَاراً خَالِداً ف۪يهَاۖ وَلَهُ عَذَابٌ مُه۪ينٌ۟ Waman yaAAsi Allahawarasoolahu wayataAAadda hudoodahu yudkhilhu narankhalidan feeha walahu AAathabun muheen And whoso disobeys God and His messenger, and transgresses His limits, He will make him enter a Fire, he abiding eternally therein; and for him is a humiliating punishment. _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-14.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 59 - **Form in this verse:** ٱلرَّسُولَ — l-rasūla · "the Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اَط۪يعُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَط۪يعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَاُو۬لِي الْاَمْرِ مِنْكُمْۚ فَاِنْ تَنَازَعْتُمْ ف۪ي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَالرَّسُولِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِۜ ذٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَاَحْسَنُ تَأْو۪يلاً۟ Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAoo arrasoolawaolee al-amri minkum fa-in tanazaAAtum fee shay-infaruddoohu ila Allahi warrasooli in kuntumtu/minoona billahi walyawmi al-akhirithalika khayrun waahsanu ta/weela O you who heed warning: obey God and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you differ in anything, refer it to God and the Messenger, if you believe in God and the Last Day; that is best, and best in respect of result. _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-59.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 59 - **Form in this verse:** وَٱلرَّسُولِ — wal-rasūli · "and the Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · genitive case يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اَط۪يعُوا اللّٰهَ وَاَط۪يعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَاُو۬لِي الْاَمْرِ مِنْكُمْۚ فَاِنْ تَنَازَعْتُمْ ف۪ي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَالرَّسُولِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِۜ ذٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَاَحْسَنُ تَأْو۪يلاً۟ Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooateeAAoo Allaha waateeAAoo arrasoolawaolee al-amri minkum fa-in tanazaAAtum fee shay-infaruddoohu ila Allahi warrasooli in kuntumtu/minoona billahi walyawmi al-akhirithalika khayrun waahsanu ta/weela O you who heed warning: obey God and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 64 - **Form in this verse:** أَرْسَلْنَا — arsalnā · "We sent" - **Grammar:** verb · pattern of if'al · 1st person, plural · past tense وَمَٓا اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ رَسُولٍ اِلَّا لِيُطَاعَ بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِۜ وَلَوْ اَنَّهُمْ اِذْ ظَلَمُٓوا اَنْفُسَهُمْ جَٓاؤُ۫كَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا اللّٰهَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُمُ الرَّسُولُ لَوَجَدُوا اللّٰهَ تَـوَّاباً رَح۪يماً Wama arsalna min rasoolin illaliyutaAAa bi-ithni Allahi walaw annahum iththalamoo anfusahum jaooka fastaghfarooAllaha wastaghfara lahumu arrasoolulawajadoo Allaha tawwaban raheema And We sent any messenger only that he be obeyed by the leave of God. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 83 - **Form in this verse:** ٱلرَّسُولِ — l-rasūli · "the Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · genitive case وَاِذَا جَٓاءَهُمْ اَمْرٌ مِنَ الْاَمْنِ اَوِ الْخَوْفِ اَذَاعُوا بِه۪ۜ وَلَوْ رَدُّوهُ اِلَى الرَّسُولِ وَاِلٰٓى اُو۬لِي الْاَمْرِ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ الَّذ۪ينَ يَسْتَنْبِطُونَهُ مِنْهُمْۜ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ لَاتَّبَعْتُمُ الشَّيْطَانَ اِلَّا قَل۪يلاً Wa-itha jaahum amrun minaal-amni awi alkhawfi athaAAoo bihi walaw raddoohu ilaarrasooli wa-ila olee al-amri minhum laAAalimahuallatheena yastanbitoonahu minhum walawla fadluAllahi AAalaykum warahmatuhu lattabaAAtumuashshaytana illa qaleela And when there comes to them a matter of security or fear, they spread it about; and had they referred it to the Messenger and to those in authority among them, there would have known it those who draw correct conclusions among them; and were it not for the bounty of God to you, and His mercy, you would have followed the satan, save a few. _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-83.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 100 - **Form in this verse:** وَرَسُولِهِۦ — warasūlihi · "and His Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · genitive case وَمَنْ يُهَاجِرْ ف۪ي سَب۪يلِ اللّٰهِ يَجِدْ فِي الْاَرْضِ مُرَاغَماً كَث۪يراً وَسَعَةًۜ وَمَنْ يَخْرُجْ مِنْ بَيْتِه۪ مُهَاجِراً اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِه۪ ثُمَّ يُدْرِكْهُ الْمَوْتُ فَقَدْ وَقَعَ اَجْرُهُ عَلَى اللّٰهِۜ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوراً رَح۪يماً۟ Waman yuhajir fee sabeeli Allahiyajid fee al-ardi muraghaman katheeran wasaAAatanwaman yakhruj min baytihi muhajiran ila Allahiwarasoolihi thumma yudrik-hu almawtu faqad waqaAAa ajruhu AAalaAllahi wakana Allahu ghafooran raheema And whoso emigrates in the cause of God will find in the earth much refuge and abundance; and whoso leaves his house as an émigré to God and His messenger, then death overtakes him: his reward is upon God; and God is forgiving and merciful. _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-100.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 115 - **Form in this verse:** ٱلرَّسُولَ — l-rasūla · "the Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case وَمَنْ يُشَاقِقِ الرَّسُولَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُ الْهُدٰى وَيَتَّبِـعْ غَيْرَ سَب۪يلِ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ نُوَلِّه۪ مَا تَوَلّٰى وَنُصْلِه۪ جَهَنَّمَۜ وَسَٓاءَتْ مَص۪يراً۟ Waman yushaqiqi arrasoolamin baAAdi ma tabayyana lahu alhuda wayattabiAAghayra sabeeli almu/mineena nuwallihi ma tawallawanuslihi jahannama wasaat maseera And whoso makes a breach with the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the path of the believers: We will turn him to that to which he turns, and burn him in Gehenna; and evil is it as a journey’s end. _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-115.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 136 - **Form in this verse:** وَرَسُولِهِۦ — warasūlihi · "and His Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · genitive case يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اٰمِنُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُولِه۪ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّذ۪ي نَزَّلَ عَلٰى رَسُولِه۪ وَالْكِتَابِ الَّـذ۪ٓي اَنْزَلَ مِنْ قَبْلُۜ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِاللّٰهِ وَمَلٰٓئِكَتِه۪ وَكُتُبِه۪ وَرُسُلِه۪ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَالاً بَع۪يداً Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooaminoo billahi warasoolihi walkitabiallathee nazzala AAala rasoolihi walkitabiallathee anzala min qablu waman yakfur billahiwamala-ikatihi wakutubihi warusulihi walyawmi al-akhirifaqad dalla dalalan baAAeeda O you who heed warning: believe in God and His messenger and the Writ that He has sent down upon His messenger, and the Writ that He sent down before; and whoso denies God and His angels, and His Writs, and His messengers, and the Last Day: he has strayed far away. _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-136.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 157 - **Form in this verse:** رَسُولَ — rasūla · "(the) Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case وَقَوْلِهِمْ اِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَس۪يحَ ع۪يسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللّٰهِۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلٰكِنْ شُبِّهَ لَهُمْۜ وَاِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ اخْتَلَفُوا ف۪يهِ لَف۪ي شَكٍّ مِنْهُۜ مَا لَهُمْ بِه۪ مِنْ عِلْمٍ اِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَق۪يناًۙ Waqawlihim inna qatalnaalmaseeha AAeesa ibna maryama rasoola Allahiwama qataloohu wama salaboohu walakinshubbiha lahum wa-inna allatheena ikhtalafoo feehi lafeeshakkin minhu ma lahum bihi min AAilmin illa ittibaAAaaththanni wama qataloohu yaqeena And for their saying: “We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of God,” — and they killed him not nor crucified him, but it seemed so to them; and those who dispute concerning it are in doubt thereof, no knowledge have they thereof save the pursuit of conjecture — and they killed him not of a certainty; _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-157.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 164 - **Form in this verse:** وَرُسُلًۭا — warusulan · "And Messengers" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine, plural · accusative case · indefinite وَرُسُلاً قَدْ قَصَصْنَاهُمْ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ قَبْلُ وَرُسُلاً لَمْ نَقْصُصْهُمْ عَلَيْكَۜ وَكَلَّمَ اللّٰهُ مُوسٰى تَكْل۪يماًۚ Warusulan qad qasasnahumAAalayka min qablu warusulan lam naqsushum AAalaykawakallama Allahu moosa takleema And messengers We have related to thee before, and messengers We have not related to thee, — and God spoke to Moses with speech — _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-164.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 171 - **Form in this verse:** رَسُولُ — rasūlu · "(was) a Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case يَٓا اَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَا تَغْلُوا ف۪ي د۪ينِكُمْ وَلَا تَقُولُوا عَلَى اللّٰهِ اِلَّا الْحَقَّۜ اِنَّمَا الْمَس۪يحُ ع۪يسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولُ اللّٰهِ وَكَلِمَتُهُۚ اَلْقٰيهَٓا اِلٰى مَرْيَمَ وَرُوحٌ مِنْهُۘ فَاٰمِنُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَرُسُلِه۪ۚ وَلَا تَقُولُوا ثَلٰثَةٌۜ اِنْتَهُوا خَيْراً لَكُمْۜ اِنَّمَا اللّٰهُ اِلٰهٌ وَاحِدٌۜ سُبْحَانَهُٓ اَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَلَدٌۢ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْاَرْضِۜ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ وَك۪يلاً۟ Ya ahla alkitabi lataghloo fee deenikum wala taqooloo AAala Allahiilla alhaqqa innama almaseehu AAeesaibnu maryama rasoolu Allahi wakalimatuhu alqahaila maryama waroohun minhu faaminoo billahiwarusulihi wala taqooloo thalathatun intahookhayran lakum innama Allahu ilahun wahidunsubhanahu an yakoona lahu waladun lahu ma fee assamawatiwama fee al-ardi wakafa billahiwakeela O doctors of the Law: exceed not bounds in your doctrine, nor ascribe to God save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary was only the messenger of God, and His word which He conveyed to Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers, and say not: “Three.” Desist; it is best for you. God is but One God. Glory be to Him that He should have a son! Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 12 - **Form in this verse:** بِرُسُلِى — birusulī · "in My Messengers" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine, plural · genitive case وَلَقَدْ اَخَذَ اللّٰهُ م۪يثَاقَ بَن۪ٓي اِسْرَٓائ۪لَۚ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنْهُمُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ نَق۪يباًۜ وَقَالَ اللّٰهُ اِنّ۪ي مَعَكُمْۜ لَئِنْ اَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتَيْتُمُ الزَّكٰوةَ وَاٰمَنْتُمْ بِرُسُل۪ي وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَاَقْرَضْتُمُ اللّٰهَ قَرْضاً حَسَناً لَاُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِكُمْ وَلَاُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُۚ فَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ مِنْكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَٓاءَ السَّب۪يلِ Walaqad akhatha Allahu meethaqabanee isra-eela wabaAAathna minhumu ithnay AAasharanaqeeban waqala Allahu innee maAAakum la-inaqamtumu assalata waataytumu azzakatawaamantum birusulee waAAazzartumoohum waaqradtumuAllaha qardan hasanan laokaffiranna AAankumsayyi-atikum walaodkhilannakum jannatin tajree mintahtiha al-anharu faman kafara baAAda thalikaminkum faqad dalla sawaa assabeel And God took an agreement of the children of Israel; and We raised up among them twelve leaders. And God said: “I am with you if you uphold the duty, and render the purity, and believe in My messengers, and support them, and lend to God a goodly loan. I will remove from you your evil deeds, and make you enter gardens beneath which rivers flow. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 15 - **Form in this verse:** رَسُولُنَا — rasūlunā · "Our Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case يَٓا اَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَٓاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَث۪يراً مِمَّا كُنْتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَعْفُوا عَنْ كَث۪يرٍۜ قَدْ جَٓاءَكُمْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَابٌ مُب۪ينٌۙ Ya ahla alkitabi qad jaakumrasooluna yubayyinu lakum katheeran mimma kuntumtukhfoona mina alkitabi wayaAAfoo AAan katheerin qad jaakummina Allahi noorun wakitabun mubeen O doctors of the Law: Our messenger has come to you, making clear to you much of what you hid of the Writ, and pardoning much. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 32 - **Form in this verse:** رُسُلُنَا — rusulunā · "Our Messengers" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine, plural · nominative case مِنْ اَجْلِ ذٰلِكَۚۛ كَتَبْنَا عَلٰى بَن۪ٓي اِسْرَٓائ۪لَ اَنَّهُ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْساً بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ اَوْ فَسَادٍ فِي الْاَرْضِ فَكَاَنَّمَا قَتَلَ النَّاسَ جَم۪يـعاًۜ وَمَنْ اَحْيَاهَا فَكَاَنَّمَٓا اَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَم۪يعاًۜ وَلَقَدْ جَٓاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِۘ ثُمَّ اِنَّ كَث۪يراً مِنْهُمْ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ فِي الْاَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ Min ajli thalika katabna AAalabanee isra-eela annahu man qatala nafsan bighayri nafsinaw fasadin fee al-ardi fakaannama qatala annasajameeAAan waman ahyaha fakaannama ahyaannasa jameeAAan walaqad jaat-hum rusulunabilbayyinati thumma inna katheeran minhum baAAda thalikafee al-ardi lamusrifoon For that cause We prescribed for the children of Israel that whoso takes a life other than for a life or corruption in the land, it will be as if he killed mankind altogether; (and whoso gives life, it will be as if he gave life to mankind altogether ­— and Our messengers came to them with clear signs, then many of them after that are committers of excess in the earth — ) _https://quran.so/surah-al-maidah/verse-32.md_ ### 5. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 33 - **Form in this verse:** وَرَسُولَهُۥ — warasūlahu · "and His Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case اِنَّمَا جَزٰٓؤُا الَّذ۪ينَ يُحَارِبُونَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَسْعَوْنَ فِي الْاَرْضِ فَسَاداً اَنْ يُقَتَّلُٓوا اَوْ يُصَلَّـبُٓوا اَوْ تُقَطَّعَ اَيْد۪يهِمْ وَاَرْجُلُهُمْ مِنْ خِلَافٍ اَوْ يُنْفَوْا مِنَ الْاَرْضِۜ ذٰلِكَ لَهُمْ خِزْيٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُمْ فِي الْاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظ۪يمٌۙ Innama jazao allatheenayuhariboona Allaha warasoolahu wayasAAawna feeal-ardi fasadan an yuqattaloo aw yusallabooaw tuqattaAAa aydeehim waarjuluhum min khilafin awyunfaw mina al-ardi thalika lahum khizyun fee addunyawalahum fee al-akhirati AAathabun AAatheem The reward but of those who war against God and His messenger, and strive to work corruption in the land, that they be killed, or they be crucified, or their hands and feet be cut off on opposite sides, or they be banished from the land. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 41 - **Form in this verse:** ٱلرَّسُولُ — l-rasūlu · "Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case يَٓا اَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ لَا يَحْزُنْكَ الَّذ۪ينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ مِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ قَالُٓوا اٰمَنَّا بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَلَمْ تُؤْمِنْ قُلُوبُهُمْۚ وَمِنَ الَّذ۪ينَ هَادُوا سَمَّاعُونَ لِلْكَذِبِ سَمَّاعُونَ لِقَوْمٍ اٰخَر۪ينَۙ لَمْ يَأْتُوكَۜ يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوَاضِعِه۪ۚ يَقُولُونَ اِنْ اُو۫ت۪يتُمْ هٰذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَاِنْ لَمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَاحْذَرُواۜ وَمَنْ يُرِدِ اللّٰهُ فِتْنَتَهُ فَلَنْ تَمْلِكَ لَهُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـٔاًۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ الَّذ۪ينَ لَمْ يُرِدِ اللّٰهُ اَنْ يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمْۜ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الْاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظ۪يمٌ Ya ayyuha arrasoolu layahzunka allatheena yusariAAoona fee alkufrimina allatheena qaloo amanna bi-afwahihimwalam tu/min quloobuhum wamina allatheena hadoosammaAAoona lilkathibi sammaAAoona liqawmin akhareenalam ya/tooka yuharrifoona alkalima min baAAdi mawadiAAihiyaqooloona in ooteetum hatha fakhuthoohu wa-in lamtu/tawhu fahtharoo waman yuridi Allahufitnatahu falan tamlika lahu mina Allahi shay-an ola-ikaallatheena lam yuridi Allahu an yutahhiraquloobahum lahum fee addunya khizyun walahum feeal-akhirati AAathabun AAatheem O Messenger: let there not grieve thee those who compete in denial among those who say: “We believe,” with their mouths, when their hearts have not believed. And among those who hold to Judaism are eager listeners to lies, eager listeners to another people who have not come to thee (they twist words from their places, saying “If this be given you, receive it; but if it be not given you, beware!” And whom God wishes to try: thou wilt not have power for him against God in anything. Those are they whose hearts God desires not to purify; they have in the World disgrace, and they have in the Hereafter a great punishment) _https://quran.so/surah-al-maidah/verse-41.md_ ### 5. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 67 - **Form in this verse:** ٱلرَّسُولُ — l-rasūlu · "Messenger" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case يَٓا اَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ بَلِّـغْ مَٓا اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَۜ وَاِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُۜ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِر۪ينَ Ya ayyuha arrasooluballigh ma onzila ilayka min rabbika wa-in lam tafAAal famaballaghta risalatahu wallahu yaAAsimukamina annasi inna Allaha la yahdeealqawma alkafireen O Messenger: convey thou what has been sent down to thee from thy Lord; and if thou do it not, then thou wilt not have conveyed His message. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 67 - **Form in this verse:** رِسَالَتَهُۥ ۚ — risālatahu · "His Message" - **Grammar:** noun · feminine · accusative case يَٓا اَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ بَلِّـغْ مَٓا اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَۜ وَاِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُۜ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ النَّاسِۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الْكَافِر۪ينَ Ya ayyuha arrasooluballigh ma onzila ilayka min rabbika wa-in lam tafAAal famaballaghta risalatahu wallahu yaAAsimukamina annasi inna Allaha la yahdeealqawma alkafireen O Messenger: convey thou what has been sent down to thee from thy Lord; and if thou do it not, then thou wilt not have conveyed His message.
