Walamma jaahum rasoolun minAAindi Allahi musaddiqun lima maAAahum nabathafareequn mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba kitabaAllahi waraa thuhoorihim kaannahum layaAAlamoon

And when there came to them a messenger from God confirming what is with them, a faction among those given the Writ cast the Writ of God behind their backs as if they knew not

And when God took an agreement of those given the Writ: “You are to make it plain to mankind, and not to conceal it,” then they cast it behind their backs, and sold it at a cheap price; and evil is what they bought.

### 68. Surah Al-Qalam, Verse 49

### 104. Surah Al-Humazah, Verse 4
