He said: “O Adam: inform thou them of their names.” And when he had informed them of their names, He said: “Said I not to you that I know the unseen of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal, and what you have concealed.”

Am taqooloona inna ibraheema wa-ismaAAeelawa-ishaqa wayaAAqooba wal-asbata kanoohoodan aw nasara qul aantum aAAlamu ami Allahuwaman athlamu mimman katama shahadatanAAindahu mina Allahi wama Allahu bighafilinAAamma taAAmaloon

If you say that Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac, and Jacob and the Grandsons were such as hold to Judaism or Christians, say thou: “Know you better, or does God?” And who is more unjust than he who conceals a witness he has from God? And God is not unmindful of what you do.

Those to whom We gave the Writ recognise it as they recognise their sons, but a faction among them conceals the truth when they know.

Those who conceal what We sent down of clear signs and guidance after We made it plain to men in the Writ: those are cursed by God, and cursed by those who curse,

Inna allatheena yaktumoona maanzala Allahu mina alkitabi wayashtaroona bihithamanan qaleelan ola-ika ma ya/kuloona fee butoonihimilla annara wala yukallimuhumu Allahuyawma alqiyamati wala yuzakkeehim walahum AAathabunaleem

Those who conceal what God has sent down of the Writ and sell it at a cheap price, those eat into their bellies only fire. And God will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He increase them in purity; and they have a painful punishment.

Walmutallaqatuyatarabbasna bi-anfusihinna thalathata quroo-in walayahillu lahunna an yaktumna ma khalaqa Allahufee arhamihinna in kunna yu/minna billahiwalyawmi al-akhiri wabuAAoolatuhunna ahaqqubiraddihinna fee thalika in aradoo islahanwalahunna mithlu allathee AAalayhinna bilmaAAroofiwalirrijali AAalayhinna darajatun wallahuAAazeezun hakeem

And divorced women shall wait by themselves three menstrual courses; and it is not lawful for them to conceal what God has created in their wombs, if they believe in God and the Last Day. And their husbands are worthier to take them back during that if they desire right ordering. And due to women is the like of what is due from them, according to what is fitting, but men have a degree over them. And God is exalted in might and wise.

Wa-in kuntum AAala safarin walamtajidoo katiban farihanun maqboodatun fa-inamina baAAdukum baAAdan falyu-addiallatheei/tumina amanatahu walyattaqi Allaha rabbahuwala taktumoo ashshahadata waman yaktumhafa-innahu athimun qalbuhu wallahu bimataAAmaloona AAaleem

And if you are on a journey, and find not a writer, then: a pledge in hand. But if one of you trusts another, then let him who is trusted discharge his trust, and let him be in prudent fear of God, his Lord. And conceal not the witness; and he who conceals it, his heart is sinful; and God knows what you do.

WaliyaAAlama allatheena nafaqoowaqeela lahum taAAalaw qatiloo fee sabeeli Allahiawi idfaAAoo qaloo law naAAlamu qitalan lattabaAAnakumhum lilkufri yawma-ithin aqrabu minhum lil-eemaniyaqooloona bi-afwahihim ma laysa fee quloobihim wallahuaAAlamu bima yaktumoon

And that He might know the waverers. And it was said to them: “Come, fight in the cause of God; or repel.” They said: “Had we known of fighting, we would have followed you.” They were nearer to denial that day than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts; and God is most aware of what conceal

Wa-ith akhatha Allahumeethaqa allatheena ootoo alkitabalatubayyinunnahu linnasi wala taktumoonahufanabathoohu waraa thuhoorihim washtarawbihi thamanan qaleelan fabi/sa ma yashtaroon

And when God took an agreement of those given the Writ: “You are to make it plain to mankind, and not to conceal it,” then they cast it behind their backs, and sold it at a cheap price; and evil is what they bought.

Allatheena yabkhaloona waya/muroona annasabilbukhli wayaktumoona ma atahumuAllahu min fadlihi waaAAtadna lilkafireenaAAathaban muheena

Those who are miserly and enjoin miserliness upon men, and conceal what God has bestowed upon them of His bounty; and We have prepared for the false claimers of guidance a humiliating punishment;

Yawma-ithin yawaddu allatheenakafaroo waAAasawoo arrasoola law tusawwabihimu al-ardu wala yaktumoona Allaha hadeetha

That day, those who ignore warning and oppose the Messenger will wish that the earth might be levelled with them; and they will not conceal from God any statement.

And when they come to you, they say: “We believe”; but they entered in denial, and they left in it; and God best knows what they were concealing.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooshahadatu baynikum itha hadara ahadakumualmawtu heena alwasiyyati ithnani thawaAAadlin minkum aw akharani min ghayrikum in antum darabtumfee al-ardi faasabatkum museebatu almawti tahbisoonahumamin baAAdi assalati fayuqsimani billahiini irtabtum la nashtaree bihi thamanan walaw kana thaqurba wala naktumu shahadata Allahiinna ithan lamina al-athimeen

O you who heed warning: a witness between you when death approaches one of you at the time of bequest is two just men among you; or two others from other than yourselves if you are travelling in the earth when the calamity of death befalls you. Detain them after the duty, and they shall swear by God, if you doubt: “We would not sell it for a price, though he were a relative, nor will we conceal the witness of God; then would we be among the sinners.”

### 24. Surah An-Nur, Verse 29

You do no wrong to enter uninhabited houses in which there is benefit for you. And God knows what you proclaim and what you conceal.

### 40. Surah Ghafir, Verse 28

وَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مُؤْمِنٌۗ مِنْ اٰلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَكْتُمُ ا۪يمَانَهُٓ اَتَقْتُلُونَ رَجُلاً اَنْ يَقُولَ رَبِّيَ اللّٰهُ وَقَدْ جَٓاءَكُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْۜ وَاِنْ يَكُ كَاذِباً فَعَلَيْهِ كَذِبُهُۚ وَاِنْ يَكُ صَادِقاً يُصِبْكُمْ بَعْضُ الَّذ۪ي يَعِدُكُمْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهْد۪ي مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ كَذَّابٌ

Waqala rajulun mu/minun min alifirAAawna yaktumu eemanahu ataqtuloona rajulan an yaqoolarabbiyya Allahu waqad jaakum bilbayyinatimin rabbikum wa-in yaku kathiban faAAalayhi kathibuhuwa-in yaku sadiqan yusibkum baAAdu allatheeyaAAidukum inna Allaha la yahdee man huwa musrifunkaththab

And there said a believing man of the house of Pharaoh who concealed his faith: “Would you kill a man because he says: ‘My Lord is God,’ and has brought you clear signs from your Lord? If he is lying, then upon him is his lie; and if he is truthful, some of what he promises you will befall you. God guides not him who is a committer of excess and a liar.
