Waqul lilmu/minati yaghdudnamin absarihinna wayahfathnafuroojahunna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa mathahara minha walyadribnabikhumurihinna AAala juyoobihinna wala yubdeenazeenatahunna illa libuAAoolatihinna aw aba-ihinnaaw aba-i buAAoolatihinna aw abna-ihinna awabna-i buAAoolatihinna aw ikhwanihinna aw baneeikhwanihinna aw banee akhawatihinna aw nisa-ihinnaaw ma malakat aymanuhunna awi attabiAAeenaghayri olee al-irbati mina arrijali awi attifliallatheena lam yathharoo AAala AAawratiannisa-i wala yadribnabi-arjulihinna liyuAAlama ma yukhfeena min zeenatihinnawatooboo ila Allahi jameeAAan ayyuhaalmu/minoona laAAallakum tuflihoon

And say thou to the believing women, that they lower some of their sight, and preserve their chastity, and that they show not their adornment save that apparent of it, and that they draw their coverings over their bosoms and not reveal their adornment save to their husbands, or their fathers, or the fathers of their husbands, or their sons, or the sons of their husbands, or their brothers, or the sons of their brothers, or the sons of their sisters, or their women, or what their right hands possess, or male attendants who have not the resourcefulness of men, or the children not yet aware of a woman’s private parts. And let them not strike their feet to make known what they hide of their adornment. And turn to God altogether, O believers, that you might be successful.

### 27. Surah An-Naml, Verse 12

“And enter thou thy hand into thy bosom; it will come forth white, without evil — among nine proofs to Pharaoh and his people; they are a perfidious people.”

### 28. Surah Al-Qasas, Verse 32

اُسْلُكْ يَدَكَ ف۪ي جَيْبِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَٓاءَ مِنْ غَيْرِ سُٓوءٍۘ وَاضْمُمْ اِلَيْكَ جَنَاحَكَ مِنَ الرَّهْبِ فَذَانِكَ بُرْهَانَانِ مِنْ رَبِّكَ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَا۬ئِه۪ۜ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْماً فَاسِق۪ينَ

Osluk yadaka fee jaybika takhruj baydaamin ghayri soo-in wadmum ilayka janahakamina arrahbi fathanika burhanani minrabbika ila firAAawna wamala-ihi innahum kanooqawman fasiqeen

“Insert thou thy hand into thy bosom; it will come forth white, without evil. And draw thou thine arm to thee against fear. And these are two evidences from thy Lord to Pharaoh and his eminent ones; they are a perfidious people.”
