وَلَمَّا جَٓاءَ مُوسٰى لِم۪يقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُۙ قَالَ رَبِّ اَرِن۪ٓي اَنْظُرْ اِلَيْكَۜ قَالَ لَنْ تَرٰين۪ي وَلٰكِنِ انْظُرْ اِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَاِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرٰين۪يۚ فَلَمَّا تَجَلّٰى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكاًّ وَخَرَّ مُوسٰى صَعِقاًۚ فَلَمَّٓا اَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ اِلَيْكَ وَاَنَا۬ اَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِن۪ينَ

Walamma jaa moosalimeeqatina wakallamahu rabbuhu qala rabbiarinee anthur ilayka qala lan taraneewalakini onthur ila aljabali fa-iniistaqarra makanahu fasawfa taranee falammatajalla rabbuhu liljabali jaAAalahu dakkan wakharra moosasaAAiqan falamma afaqa qala subhanakatubtu ilayka waana awwalu almu/mineen

And when Moses came at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said: “My Lord: show Thou me that I might look upon Thee.” Said He: “Thou wilt not see Me; but look thou upon the mountain: if it should remain in its place, then thou wilt see Me.” And when his Lord was revealed upon the mountain, He made it level; and Moses fell down thunderstruck. Then when he recovered, he said: “Glory be to Thee! I turn to Thee repentant; and I am the first of the believers!”

يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ اَيَّانَ مُرْسٰيهَاۜ قُلْ اِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ رَبّ۪يۚ لَا يُجَلّ۪يهَا لِوَقْتِهَٓا اِلَّا هُوَۜ ثَقُلَتْ فِي السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِۜ لَا تَأْت۪يكُمْ اِلَّا بَغْتَةًۜ يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ كَاَنَّكَ حَفِيٌّ عَنْهَاۜ قُلْ اِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Yas-aloonaka AAani assaAAatiayyana mursaha qul innama AAilmuhaAAinda rabbee la yujalleeha liwaqtiha illahuwa thaqulat fee assamawati wal-ardila ta/teekum illa baghtatan yas-aloonaka kaannaka hafiyyunAAanha qul innama AAilmuha AAinda Allahiwalakinna akthara annasi layaAAlamoon

They ask thee concerning the Hour: “When is its arrival?” Say thou: “Knowledge thereof is but with my Lord; none reveals its time save He. It weighs heavily in the heavens and the earth; it comes not upon you save unexpectedly.” They ask thee as though thou wert privy thereto; say thou: “Knowledge thereof is but with God”; but most men know not.

### 59. Surah Al-Hashr, Verse 3

Walawla an kataba AllahuAAalayhimu aljalaa laAAaththabahum fee addunyawalahum fee al-akhirati AAathabu annar

And were it not that God had prescribed exile for them, He would have punished them in the World; and they have in the Hereafter the punishment of the Fire

### 91. Surah Ash-Shams, Verse 3
