Fahazamoohum bi-ithni Allahiwaqatala dawoodu jaloota waatahu Allahualmulka walhikmata waAAallamahu mimma yashaowalawla dafAAu Allahi annasa baAAdahumbibaAAdin lafasadati al-ardu walakinna Allahathoo fadlin AAala alAAalameen

And they defeated them by the leave of God. And David killed Goliath, and God gave him dominion and wisdom, and taught him of what He willed. And were God not to repel some people by means of others, the earth should have become corrupt; but God is bountiful to all mankind.
