Laysa AAalaykum junahun an tabtaghoofadlan min rabbikum fa-itha afadtum minAAarafatin fathkuroo Allaha AAindaalmashAAari alharami wathkuroohu kamahadakum wa-in kuntum min qablihi lamina addalleen

You do no wrong to seek favour from your Lord. And when you pour forth from ʿArafāt, then remember God at Al-Mashʿar Al-Ḥarām. And remember Him, how He guided you, for indeed you were before it among those astray.

Wa-itha samiAAoo ma onzila ilaarrasooli tara aAAyunahum tafeedu mina addamAAimimma AAarafoo mina alhaqqi yaqooloona rabbanaamanna faktubna maAAa ashshahideen

And when they listen to what has been sent down to the Messenger, thou seest their eyes overflow with tears because of what they recognise of the truth. They say: “Our Lord: we believe, so write Thou us down among the witnesses;

Wanada as-habu anarias-haba aljannati an afeedoo AAalaynamina alma-i aw mimma razaqakumu Allahu qalooinna Allaha harramahuma AAala alkafireen

And the companions of the Fire will call to the companions of the Garden: “Pour forth upon us some water, or some of what God has provided for you.” They will say: “God has made both unlawful to the false claimers of guidance:

### 9. Surah At-Tawbah, Verse 92

وَلَا عَلَى الَّذ۪ينَ اِذَا مَٓا اَتَوْكَ لِتَحْمِلَهُمْ قُلْتَ لَٓا اَجِدُ مَٓا اَحْمِلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِۖ تَوَلَّوْا وَاَعْيُنُهُمْ تَف۪يضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ حَزَناً اَلَّا يَجِدُوا مَا يُنْفِقُونَۜ

Wala AAala allatheena ithama atawka litahmilahum qulta la ajidu maahmilukum AAalayhi tawallaw waaAAyunuhum tafeedumina addamAAi hazanan alla yajidoo mayunfiqoon

Nor upon those to whom, when they came to thee, that thou provide them mounts, thou saidst: “I find not whereon to mount you,” they turned back, their eyes overflowing with tears of grief, that they found not what to spend.

### 10. Surah Yunus, Verse 61

Wama takoonu fee sha/nin wamatatloo minhu min qur-anin wala taAAmaloona minAAamalin illa kunna AAalaykum shuhoodan ithtufeedoona feehi wama yaAAzubu AAan rabbika minmithqali tharratin fee al-ardi walafee assama-i wala asghara min thalikawala akbara illa fee kitabin mubeen

And thou art not in any matter, and thou recitest not from it any recital, and you do no deed save that We are over you witnesses when you are engaged therein; and there does not escape thy Lord the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven. Whether less than that, or greater, it is in a clear writ.

### 24. Surah An-Nur, Verse 14

And were it not for the bounty of God to you and His mercy in the World and the Hereafter, a great punishment would have touched you for what you expounded upon

### 46. Surah Al-Ahqaf, Verse 8

اَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرٰيهُۜ  قُلْ اِنِ افْتَرَيْتُهُ فَلَا تَمْلِكُونَ ل۪ي مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيْـٔاًۜ هُوَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا تُف۪يضُونَ ف۪يهِۜ   كَفٰى بِه۪ شَه۪يداً بَيْن۪ي وَبَيْنَكُمْۜ وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّح۪يمُ

Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul iniiftaraytuhu fala tamlikoona lee mina Allahi shay-anhuwa aAAlamu bima tufeedoona feehi kafa bihishaheedan baynee wabaynakum wahuwa alghafooru arraheem

If they say: “He has invented it,” say thou: “If I have invented it, then you will not possess for me anything against God. He best knows what you say concerning it; sufficient is He as witness between me and you”; and He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
