He covers the night, the day hastening after it swiftly, and the sun and the moon and the stars are subject by His command. In truth, His are the creation and the command. Surah An-Nur, Verse 35 - **Form in this verse:** مُّبَـٰرَكَةٍۢ — mubārakatin · "blessed" - **Grammar:** noun · feminine · genitive case · indefinite اَللّٰهُ نُورُ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِۜ مَثَلُ نُورِه۪ كَمِشْكٰوةٍ ف۪يهَا مِصْبَاحٌۜ اَلْمِصْبَاحُ ف۪ي زُجَاجَةٍۜ اَلزُّجَاجَةُ كَاَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ يُوقَدُ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ زَيْتُونَةٍ لَا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍۙ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُض۪ٓيءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌۜ نُورٌ عَلٰى نُورٍۜ يَهْدِي اللّٰهُ لِنُورِه۪ مَنْ يَشَٓاءُۜ وَيَضْرِبُ اللّٰهُ الْاَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِۜ وَاللّٰهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَل۪يمٌۙ Allahu nooru assamawatiwal-ardi mathalu noorihi kamishkatin feehamisbahun almisbahu fee zujajatinazzujajatu kaannaha kawkabun durriyyunyooqadu min shajaratin mubarakatin zaytoonatin lasharqiyyatin wala gharbiyyatin yakadu zaytuhayudee-o walaw lam tamsas-hu narun noorun AAalanoorin yahdee Allahu linoorihi man yashao wayadribuAllahu al-amthala linnasi wallahubikulli shay-in AAaleem God is the light of the heavens and the earth. The likeness of His light is as a niche wherein is a lamp — the lamp in a glass, the glass as it were a shining star — lit from a blessed tree, an olive neither of East nor West; its oil would nigh illuminate, though no fire touched it: — light upon light! — God guides to His light whom He wills! Surah An-Nur, Verse 61 - **Form in this verse:** مُبَـٰرَكَةًۭ — mubārakatan · "blessed" - **Grammar:** noun · feminine · accusative case · indefinite لَيْسَ عَلَى الْاَعْمٰى حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْاَعْرَجِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلَى الْمَر۪يضِ حَرَجٌ وَلَا عَلٰٓى اَنْفُسِكُمْ اَنْ تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ اَوْ بُيُوتِ اٰبَٓائِكُمْ اَوْ بُيُوتِ اُمَّهَاتِكُمْ اَوْ بُيُوتِ اِخْوَانِكُمْ اَوْ بُيُوتِ اَخَوَاتِكُمْ اَوْ بُيُوتِ اَعْمَامِكُمْ اَوْ بُيُوتِ عَمَّاتِكُمْ اَوْ بُيُوتِ اَخْوَالِكُمْ اَوْ بُيُوتِ خَالَاتِكُمْ اَوْ مَا مَلَكْتُمْ مَفَاتِحَهُٓ اَوْ صَد۪يقِكُمْۜ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ اَنْ تَأْكُلُوا جَم۪يعاً اَوْ اَشْتَاتاًۜ فَاِذَا دَخَلْتُمْ بُيُوتاً فَسَلِّمُوا عَلٰٓى اَنْفُسِكُمْ تَحِيَّةً مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِ مُبَارَكَةً طَيِّبَةًۜ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَكُمُ الْاٰيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ۟ Laysa AAala al-aAAma harajunwala AAala al-aAAraji harajun walaAAala almareedi harajun wala AAalaanfusikum an ta/kuloo min buyootikum aw buyooti aba-ikumaw buyooti ommahatikum aw buyooti ikhwanikum awbuyooti akhawatikum aw buyooti aAAmamikum awbuyooti AAammatikum aw buyooti akhwalikum awbuyooti khalatikum aw ma malaktum mafatihahuaw sadeeqikum laysa AAalaykum junahun an ta/kuloojameeAAan aw ashtatan fa-itha dakhaltum buyootanfasallimoo AAala anfusikum tahiyyatan min AAindiAllahi mubarakatan tayyibatan kathalikayubayyinu Allahu lakumu al-ayati laAAallakumtaAAqiloon No blame is there upon the blind, nor any blame upon the lame, nor any blame upon the sick, nor upon yourselves, that you eat of your houses, or the houses of your fathers, or the houses of your mothers, or the houses of your brothers, or the houses of your sisters, or the houses of your paternal uncles, or the houses of your paternal aunts, or the houses of your maternal uncles, or the houses of your maternal aunts, or that whereof you hold the keys, or of your friend; you do no wrong to eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, greet one another with a greeting from God, blessed and good.
