Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 26 - **Form in this verse:** بَعُوضَةًۭ — baʿūḍatan · "(of) a mosquito" - **Grammar:** noun · feminine · accusative case · indefinite اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَسْتَحْـي۪ٓ اَنْ يَضْرِبَ مَثَلاً مَا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَاۜ فَاَمَّا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا فَيَعْلَمُونَ اَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْۚ وَاَمَّا الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُوا فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَٓا اَرَادَ اللّٰهُ بِهٰذَا مَثَلاًۢ يُضِلُّ بِه۪ كَث۪يراً وَيَهْد۪ي بِه۪ كَث۪يراًۜ وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِه۪ٓ اِلَّا الْفَاسِق۪ينَۙ Inna Allaha la yastahyeean yadriba mathalan ma baAAoodatan famafawqaha faamma allatheena amanoofayaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu min rabbihim waammaallatheena kafaroo fayaqooloona matha aradaAllahu bihatha mathalan yudillu bihikatheeran wayahdee bihi katheeran wama yudillu bihiilla alfasiqeen God is not ashamed to strike a similitude, be it of a gnat or of what is above it. Then as for those who heed warning: they know that it is the truth from their Lord; and as for those who ignore warning: they say: “What means God by this similitude?” He leads astray many thereby, and He guides many thereby; and He leads astray thereby only the perfidious: _https://quran.so/surah-al-baqarah/verse-26.md_ ### 2. Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 85 - **Form in this verse:** بِبَعْضِ — bibaʿḍi · "in part (of)" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · genitive case ثُمَّ اَنْتُمْ هٰٓؤُ۬لَٓاءِ تَقْتُلُونَ اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَتُخْرِجُونَ فَر۪يقاً مِنْكُمْ مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْۘ تَظَاهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِالْاِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِۜ وَاِنْ يَأْتُوكُمْ اُسَارٰى تُفَادُوهُمْ وَهُوَ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ اِخْرَاجُهُمْۜ اَفَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِبَعْضِ الْكِتَابِ وَتَكْفُرُونَ بِبَعْضٍۚ فَمَا جَزَٓاءُ مَنْ يَفْعَلُ ذٰلِكَ مِنْكُمْ اِلَّا خِزْيٌ فِي الْحَيٰوةِ الدُّنْيَاۚ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ يُرَدُّونَ اِلٰٓى اَشَدِّ الْعَذَابِۜ وَمَا اللّٰهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ Thumma antum haola-itaqtuloona anfusakum watukhrijoona fareeqan minkum min diyarihimtathaharoona AAalayhim bil-ithmi walAAudwaniwa-in ya/tookum osara tufadoohum wahuwa muharramunAAalaykum ikhrajuhum afatu/minoona bibaAAdi alkitabiwatakfuroona bibaAAdin fama jazao manyafAAalu thalika minkum illa khizyun fee alhayatiaddunya wayawma alqiyamati yuraddoona ilaashaddi alAAathabi wama Allahu bighafilinAAamma taAAmaloon Then are you those who kill your own, and turn a faction among you out of their homes, assisting one another against them in sin and enmity; and if they come to you as captives, you ransom them, but unlawful for you was their expulsion. Do you believe in part of the Writ and deny part? Then what is the reward of him among you who does that save disgrace in the life of this world? And David killed Goliath, and God gave him dominion and wisdom, and taught him of what He willed. And We gave Jesus, son of Mary the clear signs, and We strengthened him with the Spirit of Holiness. And had God willed, there would not have fought one another those after them after the clear signs had come to them; but they differed, and some of them believed, and some of them denied; and had God willed, they would not have fought one another; but God does what He wills. _https://quran.so/surah-al-baqarah/verse-253.md_ ### 2. Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 259 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضَ — baʿḍa · "a part" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case اَوْ كَالَّذ۪ي مَرَّ عَلٰى قَرْيَةٍ وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلٰى عُرُوشِهَاۚ قَالَ اَنّٰى يُحْـي۪ هٰذِهِ اللّٰهُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَاۚ فَاَمَاتَهُ اللّٰهُ مِائَةَ عَامٍ ثُمَّ بَعَثَهُۜ قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتَۜ قَالَ لَبِثْتُ يَوْماً اَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍۜ قَالَ بَلْ لَبِثْتَ مِائَةَ عَامٍ فَانْظُرْ اِلٰى طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمْ يَتَسَنَّهْۚ وَانْظُرْ اِلٰى حِمَارِكَ وَلِنَجْعَلَكَ اٰيَةً لِلنَّاسِ وَانْظُرْ اِلَى الْعِظَامِ كَيْفَ نُنْشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكْسُوهَا لَحْماًۜ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۙ قَالَ اَعْلَمُ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَد۪يرٌ Aw kallathee marra AAalaqaryatin wahiya khawiyatun AAala AAurooshihaqala anna yuhyee hathihi AllahubaAAda mawtiha faamatahu Allahu mi-ata AAaminthumma baAAathahu qala kam labithta qala labithtuyawman aw baAAda yawmin qala bal labithta mi-ata AAaminfanthur ila taAAamikawasharabika lam yatasannah wanthurila himarika walinajAAalaka ayatan linnasiwanthur ila alAAithamikayfa nunshizuha thumma naksooha lahmanfalamma tabayyana lahu qala aAAlamu anna AllahaAAala kulli shay-in qadeer Or like one passing by a town when it was desolate: he said: “How will God give life to this after its death?” So God caused him to die a hundred years; then He raised him up. He said: “How long hast thou tarried?” Said he: “I have tarried a day, or part of a day.” He said: “Nay, thou hast tarried a hundred years. Look thou at thy food and drink: they are not spoiled. And look thou at thy donkey — and We will make thee a proof for mankind — and look thou at the bones: how We restore them to life, then We clothe them with flesh.” And when it had become clear to him, said he: “I know that God is over all things powerful.” _https://quran.so/surah-al-baqarah/verse-259.md_ ### 2. Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 283 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضُكُم — baʿḍukum · "one of you" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case وَاِنْ كُنْتُمْ عَلٰى سَفَرٍ وَلَمْ تَجِدُوا كَاتِباً فَرِهَانٌ مَقْبُوضَةٌۜ فَاِنْ اَمِنَ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضاً فَلْيُؤَدِّ الَّذِي اؤْتُمِنَ اَمَانَتَهُ وَلْيَتَّقِ اللّٰهَ رَبَّهُۜ وَلَا تَكْتُمُوا الشَّهَادَةَۜ وَمَنْ يَكْتُمْهَا فَاِنَّهُٓ اٰثِمٌ قَلْبُهُۜ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ عَل۪يمٌ۟ Wa-in kuntum AAala safarin walamtajidoo katiban farihanun maqboodatun fa-inamina baAAdukum baAAdan falyu-addiallatheei/tumina amanatahu walyattaqi Allaha rabbahuwala taktumoo ashshahadata waman yaktumhafa-innahu athimun qalbuhu wallahu bimataAAmaloona AAaleem And if you are on a journey, and find not a writer, then: a pledge in hand. But if one of you trusts another, then let him who is trusted discharge his trust, and let him be in prudent fear of God, his Lord. Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 64 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضُنَا — baʿḍunā · "some of us" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case قُلْ يَٓا اَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا اِلٰى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَٓاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ اَلَّا نَعْبُدَ اِلَّا اللّٰهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِه۪ شَيْـٔاً وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضاً اَرْبَاباً مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِۜ فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُولُوا اشْهَدُوا بِاَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ Qul ya ahla alkitabi taAAalawila kalimatin sawa-in baynana wabaynakum allanaAAbuda illa Allaha wala nushrika bihishay-an wala yattakhitha baAAdunabaAAdan arbaban min dooni Allahi fa-intawallaw faqooloo ishhadoo bi-anna muslimoon Say thou: “O doctors of the Law: come to an equitable word between us and you: that we serve not save God; and that we ascribe not partnership to Him; and that none of us takes others as lords instead of God.” And if they turn away, then say you: “Bear witness that we are submitting.” _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-64.md_ ### 3. Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 155 - **Form in this verse:** بِبَعْضِ — bibaʿḍi · "for some" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · genitive case اِنَّ الَّذ۪ينَ تَوَلَّوْا مِنْكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِۙ اِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُواۚ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُورٌ حَل۪يمٌ۟ Inna allatheena tawallaw minkumyawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumuashshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboowalaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allahaghafoorun haleem Those who turned back among you the day the two hosts met: the satan caused them to slip only for some of what they earned. Surah Ali 'Imran, Verse 195 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضُكُم — baʿḍukum · "each of you" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ اَنّ۪ي لَٓا اُض۪يعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ اَوْ اُنْثٰىۚ بَعْضُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍۚ فَالَّذ۪ينَ هَاجَرُوا وَاُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَاُو۫ذُوا ف۪ي سَب۪يل۪ي وَقَاتَلُوا وَقُتِلُوا لَاُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَاُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُۚ ثَوَاباً مِنْ عِنْدِ اللّٰهِۜ وَاللّٰهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ Fastajaba lahum rabbuhumannee la odeeAAu AAamala AAamilin minkum minthakarin aw ontha baAAdukum min baAAdinfallatheena hajaroo waokhrijoo min diyarihimwaoothoo fee sabeelee waqataloo waqutiloolaokaffiranna AAanhum sayyi-atihim walaodkhilannahum jannatintajree min tahtiha al-anharu thawabanmin AAindi Allahi wallahu AAindahu husnuaththawab And their Lord responded to them: “I cause not to be lost the work of any that works among you, male or female; you are of one another.” And those who emigrated and were turned out of their homes, and were hindered in My cause, and fought and were killed: I will remove from them their evil deeds, and I will make them enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, as a reward from God; and God, with Him is the best of rewards. _https://quran.so/surah-ali-imran/verse-195.md_ ### 3. And live with them according to what is fitting. And if you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and God makes therein much good. _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-19.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 21 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضُكُمْ — baʿḍukum · "one of you" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case وَكَيْفَ تَأْخُذُونَهُ وَقَدْ اَفْضٰى بَعْضُكُمْ اِلٰى بَعْضٍ وَاَخَذْنَ مِنْكُمْ م۪يثَاقاً غَل۪يظاً Wakayfa ta/khuthoonahu waqad afdabaAAdukum ila baAAdin waakhathnaminkum meethaqan ghaleetha And how can you take it after you have gone in unto each other, and they have taken from you a solemn agreement? _https://quran.so/surah-an-nisa/verse-21.md_ ### 4. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 25 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضُكُم — baʿḍukum · "You" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِـعْ مِنْكُمْ طَوْلاً اَنْ يَنْكِـحَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ فَمِنْ مَا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُكُمْ مِنْ فَتَيَاتِكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِۜ وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِا۪يمَانِكُمْۜ بَعْضُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍۚ فَانْكِحُوهُنَّ بِاِذْنِ اَهْلِهِنَّ وَاٰتُوهُنَّ اُجُورَهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ مُحْصَنَاتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَاتٍ وَلَا مُتَّخِذَاتِ اَخْدَانٍۚ فَاِذَٓا اُحْصِنَّ فَاِنْ اَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْصَنَاتِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِۜ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ مِنْكُمْۜ وَاَنْ تَصْبِرُوا خَيْرٌ لَكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُورٌ رَح۪يمٌ۟ Waman lam yastatiAA minkum tawlanan yankiha almuhsanati almu/minatifamin ma malakat aymanukum min fatayatikumualmu/minati wallahu aAAlamu bi-eemanikumbaAAdukum min baAAdin fankihoohunnabi-ithni ahlihinna waatoohunna ojoorahunna bilmaAAroofimuhsanatin ghayra masafihatin walamuttakhithati akhdanin fa-itha ohsinnafa-in atayna bifahishatin faAAalayhinna nisfu maAAala almuhsanati mina alAAathabi thalikaliman khashiya alAAanata minkum waan tasbiroo khayrunlakum wallahu ghafoorun raheem And whoso among you has not the means to marry free believing women, then from what your right hands possess of believing maids; and God best knows your faith. You are of one another, so marry them with the leave of their people; and give them their rewards according to what is fitting, they being chaste and not fornicators, nor taking secret friends. But when they are in wedlock, then if they commit sexual immorality: upon them is half what is due the free women of punishment; that is for him who fears hardship among you. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 25 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضٍۢ ۚ — baʿḍin · "(one) another" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · genitive case · indefinite وَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِـعْ مِنْكُمْ طَوْلاً اَنْ يَنْكِـحَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ فَمِنْ مَا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُكُمْ مِنْ فَتَيَاتِكُمُ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِۜ وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِا۪يمَانِكُمْۜ بَعْضُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْضٍۚ فَانْكِحُوهُنَّ بِاِذْنِ اَهْلِهِنَّ وَاٰتُوهُنَّ اُجُورَهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ مُحْصَنَاتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَافِحَاتٍ وَلَا مُتَّخِذَاتِ اَخْدَانٍۚ فَاِذَٓا اُحْصِنَّ فَاِنْ اَتَيْنَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى الْمُحْصَنَاتِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِۜ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ الْعَنَتَ مِنْكُمْۜ وَاَنْ تَصْبِرُوا خَيْرٌ لَكُمْۜ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُورٌ رَح۪يمٌ۟ Waman lam yastatiAA minkum tawlanan yankiha almuhsanati almu/minatifamin ma malakat aymanukum min fatayatikumualmu/minati wallahu aAAlamu bi-eemanikumbaAAdukum min baAAdin fankihoohunnabi-ithni ahlihinna waatoohunna ojoorahunna bilmaAAroofimuhsanatin ghayra masafihatin walamuttakhithati akhdanin fa-itha ohsinnafa-in atayna bifahishatin faAAalayhinna nisfu maAAala almuhsanati mina alAAathabi thalikaliman khashiya alAAanata minkum waan tasbiroo khayrunlakum wallahu ghafoorun raheem And whoso among you has not the means to marry free believing women, then from what your right hands possess of believing maids; and God best knows your faith. You are of one another, so marry them with the leave of their people; and give them their rewards according to what is fitting, they being chaste and not fornicators, nor taking secret friends. But when they are in wedlock, then if they commit sexual immorality: upon them is half what is due the free women of punishment; that is for him who fears hardship among you. Surah An-Nisa, Verse 32 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضَكُمْ — baʿḍakum · "some of you" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case وَلَا تَتَمَنَّوْا مَا فَضَّلَ اللّٰهُ بِه۪ بَعْضَكُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍۜ لِلرِّجَالِ نَص۪يبٌ مِمَّا اكْتَسَبُوا وَلِلنِّسَٓاءِ نَص۪يبٌ مِمَّا اكْتَسَبْنَۜ وَسْـَٔلُوا اللّٰهَ مِنْ فَضْلِه۪ۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَل۪يماً Wala tatamannaw ma faddalaAllahu bihi baAAdakum AAala baAAdinlirrijali naseebun mimma iktasaboowalinnisa-i naseebun mimma iktasabnawas-aloo Allaha min fadlihi inna Allahakana bikulli shay-in AAaleema And covet not that wherein God has favoured some of you over others. For men is a share of what they have earned, and for women is a share of what they have earned. And those from whom you fear contempt: admonish them; and leave them in beds apart; and strike them. Surah Al-Ma'idah, Verse 49 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضِ — baʿḍi · "some" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · genitive case وَاَنِ احْكُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ بِمَٓا اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِـعْ اَهْوَٓاءَهُمْ وَاحْذَرْهُمْ اَنْ يَفْتِنُوكَ عَنْ بَعْضِ مَٓا اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ اِلَيْكَۜ فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمْ اَنَّمَا يُر۪يدُ اللّٰهُ اَنْ يُص۪يبَهُمْ بِبَعْضِ ذُنُوبِهِمْۜ وَاِنَّ كَث۪يراً مِنَ النَّاسِ لَفَاسِقُونَ Waani ohkum baynahum bimaanzala Allahu wala tattabiAA ahwaahum wahtharhuman yaftinooka AAan baAAdi ma anzala Allahuilayka fa-in tawallaw faAAlam annama yureedu Allahuan yuseebahum bibaAAdi thunoobihim wa-innakatheeran mina annasi lafasiqoon And judge thou between them by what God has sent down; and follow thou not their vain desires, and beware thou of them lest they seduce thee away from some of what God has sent down to thee. Surah Al-An'am, Verse 128 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضُنَا — baʿḍunā · "some of us" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ جَم۪يعاًۚ يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ قَدِ اسْتَكْثَرْتُمْ مِنَ الْاِنْسِۚ وَقَالَ اَوْلِيَٓاؤُ۬هُمْ مِنَ الْاِنْسِ رَبَّـنَا اسْتَمْتَعَ بَعْضُنَا بِبَعْضٍ وَبَلَغْنَٓا اَجَلَنَا الَّـذ۪ٓي اَجَّلْتَ لَنَاۜ قَالَ النَّارُ مَثْوٰيكُمْ خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَٓا اِلَّا مَا شَٓاءَ اللّٰهُۜ اِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَك۪يمٌ عَل۪يمٌ Wayawma yahshuruhum jameeAAan yamaAAshara aljinni qadi istakthartum mina al-insi waqalaawliyaohum mina al-insi rabbana istamtaAAa baAAdunabibaAAdin wabalaghna ajalana allatheeajjalta lana qala annaru mathwakumkhalideena feeha illa ma shaaAllahu inna rabbaka hakeemun AAaleem And the day He gathers them all together: “O congregation of domini: you have desired many among the servi.” And their allies among the servi will say: “Our Lord: we benefited one another; but we have reached our term which Thou appointedst for us.” He will say: “The Fire is your dwelling, you abiding eternally therein!” save that God should will; thy Lord is wise and knowing. _https://quran.so/surah-al-anam/verse-128.md_ ### 6. The day there come some of the proofs of thy Lord, the faith of a soul will benefit it nothing which had not believed before, nor by its faith earned good. And those who heed warning but have not emigrated: you are not required to protect them from anything until they emigrate; and if they seek help from you within the doctrine, you are required to help save against a people between whom and you is an agreement; and God sees what you do. _https://quran.so/surah-al-anfal/verse-72.md_ ### 8. Surah At-Tawbah, Verse 71 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضُهُمْ — baʿḍuhum · "some of them" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · nominative case وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتُ بَعْضُهُمْ اَوْلِيَٓاءُ بَعْضٍۢ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَيُق۪يمُونَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤْتُونَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَيُط۪يعُونَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُولَهُۜ اُو۬لٰٓئِكَ سَيَرْحَمُهُمُ اللّٰهُۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَز۪يزٌ حَك۪يمٌ Walmu/minoona walmu/minatubaAAduhum awliyao baAAdin ya/muroona bilmaAAroofiwayanhawna AAani almunkari wayuqeemoona assalatawayu/toona azzakata wayuteeAAoona Allahawarasoolahu ola-ika sayarhamuhumu Allahuinna Allaha AAazeezun hakeem And the believing men and the believing women are allies of one another: they enjoin what is fitting, and forbid perversity, and uphold the duty, and render the purity, and obey God and His messenger; those: God will have mercy on them; God is exalted in might and wise. _https://quran.so/surah-at-tawbah/verse-71.md_ ### 9. Said a speaker among them: “How long have you tarried?” They said: “We have tarried a day, or a part of a day.” Said they: “Your Lord best knows how long you have tarried. Then send one of you with this coin of yours to the city, and let him see what food is purest and bring you a provision therefrom; and let him be circumspect, and let not anyone be aware of you. _https://quran.so/surah-al-kahf/verse-19.md_ ### 18. Surah Al-Hajj, Verse 40 - **Form in this verse:** بَعْضَهُم — baʿḍahum · "some of them" - **Grammar:** noun · masculine · accusative case اَلَّذ۪ينَ اُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ اِلَّٓا اَنْ يَقُولُوا رَبُّنَا اللّٰهُۜ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللّٰهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لَهُدِّمَتْ صَوَامِــعُ وَبِيَعٌ وَصَلَوَاتٌ وَمَسَاجِدُ يُذْكَرُ ف۪يهَا اسْمُ اللّٰهِ كَث۪يراًۜ وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللّٰهُ مَنْ يَنْصُرُهُۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَز۪يزٌ Allatheena okhrijoo min diyarihimbighayri haqqin illa an yaqooloo rabbuna Allahuwalawla dafAAu Allahi annasa baAAdahumbibaAAdin lahuddimat sawamiAAu wabiyaAAun wasalawatunwamasajidu yuthkaru feeha ismu Allahikatheeran walayansuranna Allahu man yansuruhuinna Allaha laqawiyyun AAazeez Those who have been turned out of their homes without cause save that they said: “Our Lord is God.” And were God not to repel some people by means of others, pious communities would be destroyed, and trade, and duties, and places of worship wherein the name of God is remembered much[...].
