And when Our command came, We saved Shuʿayb and those who heeded warning with him, by mercy from Us. And the Blast seized those who were doing wrong; and morning found them lying prone in their homes

Fakullan akhathna bithanbihifaminhum man arsalna AAalayhi hasiban waminhum manakhathat-hu assayhatu waminhum mankhasafna bihi al-arda waminhum man aghraqnawama kana Allahu liyathlimahumwalakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoon

And each We took for his transgression; and among them was he upon whom We sent a storm of stones; and among them was he whom the Blast seized; and among them was he whom We caused the earth to swallow; and among them was he whom We drowned. And God wronged them not, but they wronged their souls.

وَاِذَا رَاَيْتَهُمْ تُعْجِبُكَ اَجْسَامُهُمْۜ وَاِنْ يَقُولُوا تَسْمَعْ لِقَوْلِهِمْۜ   كَاَنَّهُمْ خُشُبٌ مُسَنَّدَةٌۜ يَحْسَبُونَ كُلَّ صَيْحَةٍ عَلَيْهِمْۜ هُمُ الْعَدُوُّ فَاحْذَرْهُمْۜ  قَاتَلَهُمُ اللّٰهُۘ  اَنّٰى يُؤْفَـكُونَ

Wa-itha raaytahum tuAAjibuka ajsamuhumwa-in yaqooloo tasmaAA liqawlihim kaannahum khushubunmusannadatun yahsaboona kulla sayhatinAAalayhim humu alAAaduwwu fahtharhum qatalahumuAllahu anna yu/fakoon

And when thou seest them, their forms please thee; and if they speak, thou listenest to their speech as if they were propped up pieces of dry wood. They think every blast is against them. They are the enemy; so beware thou of them. May God curse them! How are they deluded!
