God appointed not any baḥīrah or sā’ibah or waṣīlah or ḥām — but those who ignore warning invent lies about God; and most of them do not reason.

Yawma yuhma AAalayhafee nari jahannama fatukwa biha jibahuhumwajunoobuhum wathuhooruhum hatha makanaztum li-anfusikum fathooqoo ma kuntum taknizoon

The day it will be heated in the fire of Gehenna, then therewith will be branded their foreheads and their sides and their backs: “This is what you amassed for your souls; so taste what you amassed!”

### 48. Surah Al-Fath, Verse 26

Ith jaAAala allatheena kafaroofee quloobihimu alhamiyyata hamiyyata aljahiliyyatifaanzala Allahu sakeenatahu AAala rasoolihi waAAalaalmu/mineena waalzamahum kalimata attaqwa wakanooahaqqa biha waahlaha wakana Allahubikulli shay-in AAaleema

When those who ignore warning set in their hearts bigoted disdain: — the bigoted disdain of ignorance — then God sent down His tranquillity upon His messenger and upon the believers, and imposed upon them the word of prudent fear; and they have more right to it and are worthy of it; and God is knowing of all things.
