La yu-akhithukumu Allahubillaghwi fee aymanikum walakin yu-akhithukumbima kasabat quloobukum wallahu ghafoorun haleem

God will not take you to task for the vain speech in your oaths, but He will take you to task for what your hearts earned. And God is forgiving and clement.

وَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ ف۪يمَا عَرَّضْتُمْ بِه۪ مِنْ خِطْبَةِ النِّسَٓاءِ اَوْ اَكْنَنْتُمْ ف۪ٓي اَنْفُسِكُمْۜ عَلِمَ اللّٰهُ اَنَّكُمْ سَتَذْكُرُونَهُنَّ وَلٰكِنْ لَا تُوَاعِدُوهُنَّ سِراًّ اِلَّٓا اَنْ تَقُولُوا قَوْلاً مَعْرُوفاًۜ وَلَا تَعْزِمُوا عُقْدَةَ النِّكَاحِ حَتّٰى يَبْلُغَ الْكِتَابُ اَجَلَهُۜ وَاعْلَمُٓوا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا ف۪ٓي اَنْفُسِكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُۚ وَاعْلَمُٓوا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُورٌ حَل۪يمٌ۟

Wala junaha AAalaykum feemaAAarradtum bihi min khitbati annisa-iaw aknantum fee anfusikum AAalima Allahu annakum satathkuroonahunnawalakin la tuwaAAidoohunna sirran illaan taqooloo qawlan maAAroofan wala taAAzimoo AAuqdata annikahihatta yablugha alkitabu ajalahu waAAlamooanna Allaha yaAAlamu ma fee anfusikum fahtharoohuwaAAlamoo anna Allaha ghafoorun haleem

And you do no wrong in what you intimate to women of proposal, or hide within yourselves; God knows that you will remember them. But make not nor take an oath with them secretly save that you speak a fitting word. And do not decide upon the knot of marriage until the writ reaches its term. And know that God knows what is within your souls, so fear Him. And know that God is forgiving and clement.

Fitting speech and blindness to deficiency are better than charity followed by hindrance; and God is free from need and clement.

Inna allatheena tawallaw minkumyawma iltaqa aljamAAani innama istazallahumuashshaytanu bibaAAdi ma kasaboowalaqad AAafa Allahu AAanhum inna Allahaghafoorun haleem

Those who turned back among you the day the two hosts met: the satan caused them to slip only for some of what they earned. But God has pardoned them; God is forgiving and clement.

وَلَكُمْ نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ اَزْوَاجُكُمْ اِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌۚ فَاِنْ كَانَ لَهُنَّ وَلَدٌ فَلَكُمُ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْنَ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوص۪ينَ بِهَٓا اَوْ دَيْنٍۜ وَلَهُنَّ الرُّبُعُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ اِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌۚ فَاِنْ كَانَ لَكُمْ وَلَدٌ فَلَهُنَّ الثُّمُنُ مِمَّا تَرَكْتُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ تُوصُونَ بِهَٓا اَوْ دَيْنٍۜ وَاِنْ كَانَ رَجُلٌ يُورَثُ كَلَالَةً اَوِ امْرَاَةٌ وَلَهُٓ اَخٌ اَوْ اُخْتٌ فَلِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا السُّدُسُۚ فَاِنْ كَانُٓوا اَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ فَهُمْ شُرَكَٓاءُ فِي الثُّلُثِ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصٰى بِهَٓا اَوْ دَيْنٍۙ غَيْرَ مُضَٓارٍّۚ وَصِيَّةً مِنَ اللّٰهِۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَل۪يمٌ حَل۪يمٌۜ

Walakum nisfu ma taraka azwajukumin lam yakun lahunna waladun fa-in kana lahunna waladunfalakumu arrubuAAu mimma tarakna min baAAdi wasiyyatinyooseena biha aw daynin walahunna arrubuAAumimma taraktum in lam yakun lakum waladun fa-in kanalakum waladun falahunna aththumunu mimma taraktummin baAAdi wasiyyatin toosoona biha awdaynin wa-in kana rajulun yoorathu kalalatan awiimraatun walahu akhun aw okhtun falikulli wahidin minhumaassudusu fa-in kanoo akthara min thalikafahum shurakao fee aththuluthi min baAAdi wasiyyatinyoosa biha aw daynin ghayra mudarrin wasiyyatanmina Allahi wallahu AAaleemun haleem

And for you is half of what your wives left if they have not a child; but if they have a child, then for you is one-fourth of what they left, after a bequest they have made, or debt. And for them: one-fourth of what you left, if you have not a child; but if you have a child: for them is one-eighth of what you left, after a bequest you have made, or debt. And if a man or a woman be inherited with no immediate heir but has a brother or sister, for each of them is one-sixth; but if they are more than that, then are they partners in one-third, after a bequest he has made, or debt, without harm, as a bequest from God; and God is knowing and clement.

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tas-aloo AAan ashyaa in tubda lakum tasu/kumwa-in tas-aloo AAanha heena yunazzalu alqur-anutubda lakum AAafa Allahu AAanha wallahughafoorun haleem

O you who heed warning: ask not about things which, if made clear to you, would distress you; but if you ask about them while the Qur’an is being sent down, they will be made clear to you. God has pardoned that; and God is forgiving and clement.

Wama kana istighfaruibraheema li-abeehi illa AAan mawAAidatin waAAadahaiyyahu falamma tabayyana lahu annahu AAaduwwun lillahitabarraa minhu inna ibraheema laawwahun haleem

And the request for forgiveness of Abraham for his father was only because of a promise he had promised him; but when it had become clear to him that he was an enemy to God, he declared himself quit of him; Abraham was compassionate and clement.

Qaloo ya shuAAaybu asalatukata/muruka an natruka ma yaAAbudu abaonaaw an nafAAala fee amwalina ma nashaoinnaka laanta alhaleemu arrasheed

They said: “O Shuʿayb: does thy duty command thee that we leave what our fathers served, or that we do not with our wealth what we will? Thou art the clement, the right-minded!”

Tusabbihu lahu assamawatuassabAAu wal-ardu waman feehinna wa-in minshay-in illa yusabbihu bihamdihi walakinla tafqahoona tasbeehahum innahu kana haleemanghafoora

The seven heavens and the earth and whoso is in them glorify Him; nothing is save that gives glory with His praise, but you understand not their glorification; He is clement and forgiving.

Bal qaloo adghathu ahlaminbali iftarahu bal huwa shaAAirun falya/tinabi-ayatin kama orsila al-awwaloon

“But,” — they say — “a confused medley of dreams; but he has invented it; but he is a poet. So let him bring us a proof like that sent to the former peoples!”

### 22. Surah Al-Hajj, Verse 59

He will make them enter by an entrance with which they will be satisfied; and God is knowing and clement.

يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا لِيَسْتَأْذِنْكُمُ الَّذ۪ينَ مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُكُمْ وَالَّذ۪ينَ لَمْ يَبْلُغُوا الْحُلُمَ مِنْكُمْ ثَلٰثَ مَرَّاتٍۜ مِنْ قَبْلِ صَلٰوةِ الْفَجْرِ وَح۪ينَ تَضَعُونَ ثِيَابَكُمْ مِنَ الظَّه۪يرَةِ وَمِنْ بَعْدِ صَلٰوةِ الْعِشَٓاءِ۠ ثَلٰثُ عَوْرَاتٍ لَكُمْۜ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ جُنَاحٌ بَعْدَهُنَّۜ طَوَّافُونَ عَلَيْكُمْ بَعْضُكُمْ عَلٰى بَعْضٍۜ كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَكُمُ الْاٰيَاتِۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَل۪يمٌ حَك۪يمٌ

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooliyasta/thinkumu allatheena malakat aymanukumwallatheena lam yablughoo alhuluma minkumthalatha marratin min qabli salatialfajri waheena tadaAAoona thiyabakum mina aththaheeratiwamin baAAdi salati alAAisha-i thalathuAAawratin lakum laysa AAalaykum wala AAalayhim junahunbaAAdahunna tawwafoona AAalaykum baAAdukumAAala baAAdin kathalika yubayyinu Allahulakumu al-ayati wallahu AAaleemun hakeem

O you who heed warning: let ask leave of you those whom your right hands possess and those who have not reached puberty among you at three times: before the duty of the dawn, and when you lay aside your garments at noon, and after the duty of the night: three times of nakedness for you; you and they do no wrong beyond them, some of you moving about among others of you. Thus God makes plain to you the proofs; and God is knowing and wise.

### 24. Surah An-Nur, Verse 59

وَاِذَا بَلَغَ الْاَطْفَالُ مِنْكُمُ الْحُلُمَ فَلْيَسْتَأْذِنُوا كَمَا اسْتَأْذَنَ الَّذ۪ينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۜ  كَذٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْ اٰيَاتِه۪ۜ وَاللّٰهُ عَل۪يمٌ حَك۪يمٌ

Wa-itha balagha al-atfaluminkumu alhuluma falyasta/thinoo kama ista/thanaallatheena min qablihim kathalika yubayyinu Allahulakum ayatihi wallahu AAaleemun hakeem

And when the children among you reach puberty, then let them ask leave even as those before them asked; thus God makes plain to you His proofs. And God is knowing and wise.

تُرْج۪ي مَنْ تَشَٓاءُ مِنْهُنَّ وَتُــْٔـو۪ٓي اِلَيْكَ مَنْ تَشَٓاءُۜ وَمَنِ ابْتَغَيْتَ مِمَّنْ عَزَلْتَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكَۜ  ذٰلِكَ اَدْنٰٓى اَنْ تَقَرَّ اَعْيُنُهُنَّ وَلَا يَحْزَنَّ وَيَرْضَيْنَ بِمَٓا اٰتَيْتَهُنَّ كُلُّهُنَّۜ وَاللّٰهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا ف۪ي قُلُوبِكُمْۜ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَل۪يماً حَل۪يماً

Turjee man tashao minhunna watu/weeilayka man tashao wamani ibtaghayta mimman AAazalta falajunaha AAalayka thalika adna an taqarraaAAyunuhunna wala yahzanna wayardayna bimaataytahunna kulluhunna wallahu yaAAlamu mafee quloobikum wakana Allahu AAaleeman haleema

Thou deferest whom thou wilt of them, and thou takest to thee whom thou wilt; and whom thou desirest of those thou hast set aside: there is no blame upon thee. That tends to the comfort of their eyes, and that they grieve not, and that they be pleased with what thou givest them; and God knows what is in your hearts, and God is knowing and clement.

### 35. Surah Fatir, Verse 41

اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُمْسِكُ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضَ اَنْ تَزُولَاۚ وَلَئِنْ زَالَتَٓا اِنْ اَمْسَكَهُمَا مِنْ اَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ۜ اِنَّهُ  كَانَ حَل۪يماً غَفُوراً

Inna Allaha yumsiku assamawatiwal-arda an tazoola wala-in zalatain amsakahuma min ahadin min baAAdihi innahu kanahaleeman ghafoora

God holds the heavens and the earth lest they cease. And if they should cease, no one could hold them after Him. He is clement and forgiving.

In tuqridoo Allaha qardanhasanan yudaAAifhu lakum wayaghfir lakum wallahushakoorun haleem

If you lend to God a goodly loan, He will double it for you, and will forgive you; and God is appreciative and clement,
