And those who heed warning and do righteous deeds, We will make them enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein forever; they will have therein purified spouses, and We will make them enter a protecting canopy of shade.

But those who heed warning and do righteous deeds: We will make them enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein forever. The promise of God is true; and who is more truthful than God in speech?

They said: “O Moses: we will not enter it ever, so long as they remain therein. So go thou, thou and thy Lord, and fight; we will sit here.”

Qala Allahu hathayawmu yanfaAAu assadiqeena sidquhum lahumjannatun tajree min tahtiha al-anharukhalideena feeha abadan radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika alfawzu alAAatheem

God will say: “This is the day in which their truthfulness benefits the truthful.” They have gardens beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein forever; God is pleased with them, and they pleased with Him; that is the Great Achievement.

Fa-in rajaAAaka Allahu ila ta-ifatinminhum fasta/thanooka lilkhurooji faqul lantakhrujoo maAAiya abadan walan tuqatiloo maAAiya AAaduwwaninnakum radeetum bilquAAoodi awwala marratin faqAAudoomaAAa alkhalifeen

And if God brings thee back to a number of them and they ask of thee leave to go forth, say thou: “You shall not go forth with me ever, nor fight with me an enemy; you were pleased to sit the first time, so sit with those who remain.”

And perform thou not the duty for any among them that dies ever, nor stand thou over his grave; they denied God and His messenger, and died while they were perfidious.

Wassabiqoona al-awwaloonamina almuhajireena wal-ansari wallatheenaittabaAAoohum bi-ihsanin radiya AllahuAAanhum waradoo AAanhu waaAAadda lahum jannatintajree tahtaha al-anharu khalideenafeeha abadan thalika alfawzu alAAatheem

And the first vanguard among the émigrés, and the helpers, and those who followed them in good conduct: God is pleased with them, and they pleased with Him; and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein forever; that is the Great Achievement.

La taqum feehi abadan lamasjidunossisa AAala attaqwa min awwali yawmin ahaqquan taqooma feehi feehi rijalun yuhibboona an yatatahharoowallahu yuhibbu almuttahhireen

Stand thou not within it ever. A place of worship founded upon prudent fear from the first day is worthier that thou shouldst stand within it; therein are men who love to purify themselves; and God loves those who purify themselves.

وَمَنْ اَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ ذُكِّرَ بِاٰيَاتِ رَبِّه۪ فَاَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا وَنَسِيَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُۜ اِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلٰى قُلُوبِهِمْ اَكِنَّةً اَنْ يَفْقَهُوهُ وَف۪ٓي اٰذَانِهِمْ وَقْراًۜ وَاِنْ تَدْعُهُمْ اِلَى الْهُدٰى فَلَنْ يَهْتَدُٓوا اِذاً اَبَداً

Waman athlamu mimman thukkirabi-ayati rabbihi faaAArada AAanhawanasiya ma qaddamat yadahu inna jaAAalnaAAala quloobihim akinnatan an yafqahoohu wafee athanihimwaqran wa-in tadAAuhum ila alhuda falan yahtadoo ithanabada

And who is more unjust than he who is reminded of the proofs of his Lord, then turns away therefrom and forgets what his hands have sent ahead? We have placed upon their hearts coverings lest they should understand it, and in their ears deafness. And though thou invitest them to the guidance, they will not be guided then ever.

وَالَّذ۪ينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَأْتُوا بِاَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَٓاءَ فَاجْلِدُوهُمْ ثَمَان۪ينَ جَلْدَةً وَلَا تَقْبَلُوا لَهُمْ شَهَادَةً اَبَداًۚ وَاُو۬لٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَۙ

Wallatheena yarmoona almuhsanatithumma lam ya/too bi-arbaAAati shuhadaa fajlidoohumthamaneena jaldatan wala taqbaloo lahum shahadatanabadan waola-ika humu alfasiqoon

And those who accuse chaste women then bring not four witnesses: lash them with eighty lashes, and accept not of them witness ever — and it is they who are the perfidious —

God admonishes you, that you return not to the like thereof ever, if you be believers.

يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا لَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِۜ وَمَنْ يَتَّبِـعْ خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ فَاِنَّهُ يَأْمُرُ بِالْفَحْشَٓاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِۜ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ مَا زَكٰى مِنْكُمْ مِنْ اَحَدٍ اَبَداًۙ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُزَكّ۪ي مَنْ يَشَٓاءُۜ وَاللّٰهُ سَم۪يعٌ عَل۪يمٌ

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tattabiAAoo khutuwati ashshaytaniwaman yattabiAA khutuwati ashshaytanifa-innahu ya/muru bilfahsha-i walmunkariwalawla fadlu Allahi AAalaykum warahmatuhuma zaka minkum min ahadin abadan walakinnaAllaha yuzakkee man yashao wallahusameeAAun AAaleem

O you who heed warning: follow not the footsteps of the satan. And whoso follows the footsteps of the satan: he enjoins sexual immorality and perversity. And were it not for the bounty of God upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure ever. But God increases in purity whom He wills; and God is hearing and knowing.

يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا لَا تَدْخُلُوا بُيُوتَ النَّبِيِّ اِلَّٓا اَنْ يُؤْذَنَ لَكُمْ اِلٰى طَعَامٍ غَيْرَ نَاظِر۪ينَ اِنٰيهُۙ وَلٰكِنْ اِذَا دُع۪يتُمْ فَادْخُلُوا فَاِذَا طَعِمْتُمْ فَانْتَشِرُوا وَلَا مُسْتَأْنِس۪ينَ لِحَد۪يثٍۜ اِنَّ ذٰلِكُمْ كَانَ يُؤْذِي النَّبِيَّ فَيَسْتَحْـي۪ مِنْكُمْۘ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَسْتَحْـي۪ مِنَ الْحَقِّۜ وَاِذَا سَاَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعاً فَسْـَٔلُوهُنَّ مِنْ وَرَٓاءِ حِجَابٍۜ ذٰلِكُمْ اَطْهَرُ لِقُلُوبِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِهِنَّۜ وَمَا كَانَ لَكُمْ اَنْ تُؤْذُوا رَسُولَ اللّٰهِ وَلَٓا اَنْ تَنْكِحُٓوا اَزْوَاجَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِه۪ٓ اَبَداًۜ اِنَّ ذٰلِكُمْ كَانَ عِنْـدَ اللّٰهِ عَظ۪يـماً

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola tadkhuloo buyoota annabiyyi illa an yu/thanalakum ila taAAamin ghayra nathireenainahu walakin itha duAAeetum fadkhuloofa-itha taAAimtum fantashiroo walamusta/niseena lihadeethin inna thalikum kanayu/thee annabiyya fayastahyee minkum wallahula yastahyee mina alhaqqi wa-ithasaaltumoohunna mataAAan fas-aloohunna min wara-ihijabin thalikum atharu liquloobikumwaquloobihinna wama kana lakum an tu/thoorasoola Allahi wala an tankihoo azwajahumin baAAdihi abadan inna thalikum kana AAinda AllahiAAatheema

O you who heed warning: enter not the houses of the Prophet, save that leave be given to you for a meal, without watching for its hour. But when you are called, then enter; and when you have eaten, then disperse. And seek not to remain for conversation; that hinders the Prophet, and he is shy of you; but God is not shy of the truth. And when you ask of his wives an item: ask it of them from behind a partition; that is purer for your hearts and their hearts. And it is not for you to hinder the messenger of God, or to marry his wives after him ever; that were, in the sight of God, monstrous.

بَلْ ظَنَنْتُمْ اَنْ لَنْ يَنْقَلِبَ الرَّسُولُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ اِلٰٓى اَهْل۪يهِمْ اَبَداً وَزُيِّنَ ذٰلِكَ ف۪ي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَظَنَنْتُمْ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِۚ وَكُنْتُمْ قَوْماً بُوراً

Bal thanantum an lan yanqalibaarrasoolu walmu/minoona ila ahleehimabadan wazuyyina thalika fee quloobikum wathanantumthanna assaw-i wakuntum qawman boora

The truth is, you thought that the Messenger and the believers would never return to their families; and that was made fair in your hearts, and you thought an evil thought and are a people ruined.

Alam tara ila allatheena nafaqooyaqooloona li-ikhwanihimu allatheena kafaroo minahli alkitabi la-in okhrijtum lanakhrujanna maAAakum walanuteeAAu feekum ahadan abadan wa-in qootiltum lanansurannakumwallahu yashhadu innahum lakathiboon

Hast thou not considered the waverers? They say to their brethren who ignore warning among the doctors of the Law: “If you are turned out, we will go forth with you, and will not obey anyone concerning you ever; and if you are attacked, we will help you.” But God bears witness that they are liars: —

قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ اُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ ف۪ٓي اِبْرٰه۪يمَ وَالَّذ۪ينَ مَعَهُۚ اِذْ قَالُوا لِقَوْمِهِمْ اِنَّا بُرَءٰٓؤُ۬ا مِنْكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِۘ   كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَٓاءُ اَبَداً حَتّٰى تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللّٰهِ وَحْدَهُٓ اِلَّا قَوْلَ اِبْرٰه۪يمَ لِاَب۪يهِ لَاَسْتَغْفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَٓا اَمْلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍۜ رَبَّـنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَاِلَيْكَ اَنَبْنَا وَاِلَيْكَ الْمَص۪يرُ

Qad kanat lakum oswatun hasanatunfee ibraheema wallatheena maAAahu ithqaloo liqawmihim inna buraao minkum wamimmataAAbudoona min dooni Allahi kafarna bikum wabadabaynana wabaynakumu alAAadawatu walbaghdaoabadan hatta tu/minoo billahi wahdahuilla qawla ibraheema li-abeehi laastaghfiranna lakawama amliku laka mina Allahi min shay-in rabbanaAAalayka tawakkalna wa-ilayka anabna wa-ilayka almaseer

There was for you a good model in Abraham and those with him when they said to their people: “We are quit of you and what you serve besides God. We deny you, and become clear between us and you are enmity and hatred forever until you believe in God alone,” — save the saying of Abraham to his father: “I will ask forgiveness for thee, but I have no power for thee against God.” — “Our Lord: in Thee we place our trust; and to Thee have we turned; and to Thee is the journey’s end.

### 62. Surah Al-Jumu'ah, Verse 7

Wala yatamannawnahu abadan bimaqaddamat aydeehim wallahu AAaleemun biththalimeen

But never will they wish for it, because of what their hands have sent ahead. And God knows the wrongdoers.

### 64. Surah At-Taghabun, Verse 9

يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ الْجَمْعِ ذٰلِكَ يَوْمُ التَّغَابُنِۜ وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللّٰهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحاً يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِه۪ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُ خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَٓا اَبَداًۜ ذٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظ۪يمُ

Yawma yajmaAAukum liyawmi aljamAAi thalikayawmu attaghabuni waman yu/min billahiwayaAAmal salihan yukaffir AAanhu sayyi-atihiwayudkhilhu jannatin tajree min tahtihaal-anharu khalideena feeha abadan thalikaalfawzu alAAatheem

The day He gathers you for the Day of Gathering: that will be the Day of Mutual Overcoming in Trade. And whoso believes in God and works righteousness, He will remove from him his evil deeds, and make him enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein forever; that is the Great Achievement.

### 65. Surah At-Talaq, Verse 11

رَسُولاً يَتْلُوا عَلَيْكُمْ اٰيَاتِ اللّٰهِ مُبَيِّنَاتٍ لِيُخْرِجَ الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ اِلَى النُّورِۜ  وَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللّٰهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَالِحاً يُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُ خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَٓا اَبَداًۜ قَدْ اَحْسَنَ اللّٰهُ لَهُ رِزْقاً

Rasoolan yatloo AAalaykum ayatiAllahi mubayyinatin liyukhrija allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo assalihati mina aththulumatiila annoori waman yu/min billahiwayaAAmal salihan yudkhilhu jannatin tajreemin tahtiha al-anharu khalideena feehaabadan qad ahsana Allahu lahu rizqa

A messenger reciting to you the manifest proofs of God, that He might bring forth those who heed warning and do righteous deeds out of darkness into the light. And whoso believes in God and works righteousness — He will make him enter gardens beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein forever. God has made good for him his provision.

### 72. Surah Al-Jinn, Verse 23

اِلَّا بَلَاغاً مِنَ اللّٰهِ وَرِسَالَاتِه۪ۜ وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَاِنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَٓا اَبَداًۜ

Illa balaghan mina Allahiwarisalatihi waman yaAAsi Allahawarasoolahu fa-inna lahu nara jahannama khalideenafeeha abada

“Save notification from God and His messages.” And whoso opposes God and His messenger, for him is the fire of Gehenna; they abiding eternally therein forever.

### 98. Surah Al-Bayyinah, Verse 8

جَزَٓاؤُ۬هُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْر۪ي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْاَنْهَارُ خَالِد۪ينَ ف۪يهَٓا اَبَداًۜ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُۜ ذٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ

Jazaohum AAinda rabbihim jannatuAAadnin tajree min tahtiha al-anharu khalideenafeeha abadan radiya Allahu AAanhum waradooAAanhu thalika liman khashiya rabbah

Their reward is with their Lord: gardens of perpetual abode beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein forever; God is pleased with them, and they pleased with Him; that is for him who fears his Lord.
