And when they say: “O God: if this be the truth from Thee, then rain Thou down upon us stones from the sky, or bring Thou us a painful punishment!”

And they say, ‘Allah, if this is really the truth from You, rain down stones on us out of heaven or send a painful punishment down on us. ’
And they said: "O God, if this is the truth from You, then send down upon us a rain of stones from the sky or bring on us a painful retribution. "
They went ahead saying, "O Allah! If this is indeed the Truth from You, then shower upon us rocks from the sky or bring on us a painful suffering. "
And when they say: “O God: if this be the truth from Thee, then rain Thou down upon us stones from the sky, or bring Thou us a painful punishment!”
And they said: "Our god, if this is the truth from You, then send down upon us a rain of stones from the heaven or bring upon us a painful retribution."
They said, "Our god, if this is the truth from You, then send down upon us a rain of stones from the sky or bring on us a painful retribution."
They also said, "Our god, if this is really the truth from You, then shower us with rocks from the sky, or pour upon us a painful punishment."
They had also said: "If this be the truth from you, O God, then rain down on us stones from the skies, or inflict a grievous punishment upon us. "
And when they said, "O Allah, if this should be the truth from You, then rain down upon us stones from the sky or bring us a painful punishment. "
And, lo, they would say, "O God! If this. be indeed the truth from Thee, then rain down upon us stones from the skies, or inflict grievous suffering on us!"
And when they said: O Allah! If this be indeed the truth from Thee, then rain down stones on us or bring on us some painful doom!
And also recall when they said: 'O Allah! If this indeed be the truth from You, then rain down stones upon us from heaven, or bring upon us a painful chastisement.'*
And remember O Muhammad when their pride and insolence got the better of their prudence and they said: O Allah, "if this is a divine discourse revealed from Your heaven's realm, then pour down upon us from the floor of the vault of heaven a rain of stones or a rain of large blows".
They were challenging you to ask God to send them fiery stones from the sky or any other sever punishment.
And (remember) when they said: "O Allâh! If this (the Qur’ân) is indeed the truth (revealed) from You, then rain down stones on us from the sky or bring on us a painful torment."
Remember how they said: "O Allah if this is indeed the Truth from Thee, rain down on us a shower of stones form the sky, or send us a grievous penalty."
And ˹remember˺ when they prayed, "O Allah! If this is indeed the truth from You, then rain down stones upon us from the sky or overcome us with a painful punishment."
And (recall) when they said, "O Allah, if this is indeed the truth (revealed) from You, then, rain down stones upon us from the heavens, or bring upon us a painful punishment."
They also said, ‘God, if this really is the truth from You, then rain stones on us from the heavens, or send us some other painful punishment.’
And when they said, 'O God, if this be indeed the truth from Thee, then rain down upon us stones out of heaven, or bring us a painful chastisement. '
When they said, 'O God! if this be truth, and from Thee, then rain upon us stones from heaven or bring us grievous woe!'
When they said, "O Allah! If this be indeed truth from Thee, then rain down upon us stones from heaven or bring us grievous doom!"
And as they said, "O Allah, (The Arabic word has the suffix-unima for supplication) in case this is (really) the Truth from Your Providence, then rain down upon us stones from the heaven, or come up to us with a painful torment. "
And remember the time when they said, 'O Allah, if this be indeed the truth from Thee, then rain down upon us stones from heaven or bring down upon us a grievous punishment. '
And (remember) when how they said: "O Allah! If this is indeed the Truth from You, then rain down on us a shower of stones from the sky, or send us a painful penalty. "
And (recall the time) when they said, `O Allâh! if this (faith of Islam) indeed be the truth revealed by You, then rain down upon us stones from heaven, or bring down upon us (some other) grievous punishment. '
And when they said, ‘O Allah, if this be the truth from You, rain down upon us stones from the sky, or bring us a painful punishment. ’
