Then what ails them that they, from the reminder, turn away
What is the matter with them that they run from the Reminder
Why have they turned away from being reminded
What, then, is the matter with them that they are turning away from a clear Advisory?
Then what ails them that they, from the reminder, turn away

Why did they turn away from this reminder?
Why are they so averse to this reminder?
Why then do they turn away from the admonition
Then what is with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away
WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition
Why now turn they away from the Admonishment,
What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation,
But why would they reject admonition and refuse to take heed!
What is wrong with these people…
Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the polytheists, the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition?
Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?-
Now, what is the matter with them that they are turning away from the reminder,
So what has happened to them that they are turning away from the Reminder,
What is the matter with them? Why do they turn away from the warning,
What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder,
What ailed them that they turned away from the memorial
What is then the matter with them that they turn away from the admonition,
Then what is it with them that they are veering away from the Reminder.
What aileth them, therefore, that they turn aside from the admonition of the Koran,
Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from plain warning—
