And He it is that takes you at night, and knows what you earned by day; then He raises you up therein that there be fulfilled a stated term; then to Him will be your return; then will He inform you of what you did.

It is He who takes you back to Himself at night, while knowing the things you perpetrate by day, and then wakes you up again, so that a specified term may be fulfilled. Then you will return to Him. Then He will inform you about what you did.
And He is the One who takes you at night, and He knows what you have done during the day, then He sends you back to it until a fixed span; then to Him is your return and He will inform you of what you used to do.

God is the One Who puts you to "death" every night He knows every detail of what you have done during the day God, then, returns you back to life and lets you live till the pre-determined moment of your death. Once you die, you will return to your Lord and He will make you review your deeds
