Your ally is but God and His messenger, and those who heed warning — those who uphold the duty, and render the purity; and they are lowly —

Your real friends/ allies are God, His Prophet and the believers (who worship the Lord on regular basis, engage in charity and bow down before God. )
Verily, your Walî (Protector or Helper) is none other than Allâh, His Messenger, and the believers, - those who perform As-Salât (Iqâmat-as-Salât), and give Zakât, and they are Râki‘ûn (those who bow down or submit themselves with obedience to Allâh in prayer).
Your (real) friends are (no less than) Allah, His Messenger, and the (fellowship of) believers,- those who establish regular prayers and regular charity, and they bow down humbly (in worship).
Your only guardians are Allah, His Messenger, and fellow believers—who establish prayer and pay alms-tax with humility.

Surely your Ever-Patronizing Patron is only Allah; and His Messenger, and the ones who have believed-who keep up the prayer and bring the Zakat, (i. e., pay the poor-dues) and are bowing down (to Allah) - (are also your patrons).
