They will say: “Glory be to Thee! Thou art our ally, not them!” The truth is, they served the domini; most of them were believers in them.
they will say, ‘Glory be to You! You are our Protector, not them. No, they were worshipping the jinn. They mostly had faith in them.’
They will Say: "Be You glorified. You are our Lord, not them. No, most of them were worshiping the Jinn; most were believers to them."
They will answer, "Glory is Yours! You are our Master, not them. Nay, they used to worship the invisible guises of their selfish desire. Most of them were believers therein." (Jinns = Hidden from sight. Generally this term in the Qur'an applies to nomads rarely appearing in townships. It is also used to describe rebellious desire, emotions and fiery temperament like Satan (6:101), (18:50), (37:158), (55:15).
They will say: “Glory be to Thee! Thou art our ally, not them!” The truth is, they served the domini; most of them were believers in them.
They will say: "Be You glorified. You are our Lord, not them. No, most of them were serving the Jinn; most were believers to them."
They will say, "Be You glorified. You are our Lord, not them. No, most of them were serving the Jinn; most were those who acknowledge them."
They will answer, "Be You glorified. You are our Lord and Master, not them. Instead, they were worshipping the jinns; most of them were believers therein."
"God forbid!" (they will answer). "You are our protector not they. In fact, they worshipped the devils. Most of them believed in them."
They will say, "Exalted are You! You, , are our benefactor not them. Rather, they used to worship the jinn; most of them were believers in them."
They will answer: "Limitless art Thou in Thy glory! Thou art close unto us, not they! Nay, they were but worshipping forces concealed from their senses; most of them believed in them. "
They will say: Be Thou Glorified. Thou (alone) art our Guardian, not them! Nay, but they worshipped the jinn; most of them were believers in them.
They will reply: "Glory to You! You are our Protector, not they.* Nay, they rather used to worship the jinn. Most of them believe in them."
"Glory be to You O Allah", they shall say, "and extolled are Your glorious attributes. You are our tutelary Guardian, but it was the Jinn they worshipped and regarded as truthful and had faith in their rights and their powers".
The angels will reply: "Glory is with you; You are our Master not them. In reality they were worshipping the Jinns whom they took as their Lord.
They (the angels) will say: "Glorified be You! You are our Walî (Lord) instead of them. Nay, but they used to worship the jinn; most of them were believers in them."
They will say, "Glory to Thee! our (tie) is with Thee - as Protector - not with them. Nay, but they worshipped the Jinns: most of them believed in them."
They will say, "Glory be to You! Our loyalty is to You, not them. In fact, they ˹only˺ followed the ˹temptations of evil˺ jinn, in whom most of them had faith."
They will say, "Pure are You! You are our mentor, not these. Rather, they used to worship the Jinns. Most of these believed in them."
They will reply, ‘May You be exalted! You are our supporter against them! Really, they worshipped the jinn- most of them believed in them.’
They shall say, 'Glory be to Thee'! Thou art our Protector, apart from them; nay rather, they were serving the jinn; most of them believed in them. '
They shall say, 'Celebrated be thy praises! thou art our patron instead of them. Nay, they used to worship the ginns, most of them believe in them.
And on the Day when He will gather them all together, then will He say to the angels, "Did these people worship you?"
They will say, All Extolment be to You! You are our Ever-Patronizing Patron, apart from them. No indeed, (but) they were worshiping the jinn; most of them were believers in them.
And the angels shall answer, God forbid! Thou art our friend, and not these: But they worshipped devils; the greater part of them believed in them.
They (the angels) will say: "Glory to You! — You are (our) Protector (Wali), not them. No! But they worshipped the jinns': Most of them (even) believed in them (jinns')."
They will say, `Holy is Your name. It is You Who are our Protector against them, not they. It was not us but the jinns that they worshipped. It was in them that most of them believed (and not in Us).
They will say, ‘Immaculate are You! You are our intimate, not they! Rather they used to worship the jinn; most of them had faith in them. ’
